The Neutrogena hydro boost gel has a light gel consistency and after you apply it, your skin absorbs it almost instantly. Leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. It really hydrates your skin. I have combination skin and have always struggled to find a product that hydrates the dry areas without causing acne on the oily areas, but this cream does the trick! Like the gel format too as we're going into summer, where I don't want anything too heavy (ie. creams) because of increased oil/sweat. Only downside is the price, quite costly for the amount you get, and I expect I would go through a jar quite quickly.

To be honest, it is too little to tell the effectiveness; I last only 2 days in my routine. For the first time user of Neutrogena, I quite like the feeling it leaved on my skin. Therefore, I decide that I would go buying the full size to try it for a week. If it's better than my facial lotion now then I would definitively using this product to use frequently.

I never tried a gel cream before and this product consistency is quite interesting. My skin have been feeling super dry from our Canadian winter cold months that never seem to end. After washing my face, I applied a small amount of the gel cream on my face and neck. The feeling of the gel cream is light, it has a nice light scent, does not feel oily and it made my skin more hydrated and soft. The price for the full-size is quite expensive, I am not sure if I would buy it but the product is great! Perhaps, if I saw it on sale I may pick one up. I would still recommend this product to those who are looking for a non-oily gel cream that hydrates the skin.

While I usually use a heavier cream at night, this product is amazing after I wash my face in the morning. I use it before I put on makeup and it really helps my makeup sit evenly on my face and gets rid of the dry patches. I would definitely repurchase! First time using it, felt exactly the same as any other moisturizer I use on a daily basis. I didn’t feel anything significant to change my usual moisturizer to this product. It smelled good and the texture was light and non-greasy. I see myself using this product again if I ever find being on sale or something. Otherwise, I recommend it.

I recently went on a trip to Palm Springs, which is in the middle of the dry California desert. Needless to say, after being in the dry desert heat and sun all day, my skin was parched at night. I'd put this on as soon as I got back to my hotel room after cleansing my face and would immediately feel my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. I'd highly recommend!

I only get pimples when I use different product or during periods. It Does not break out my skin as promised. My skin feels baby smooth. It's expensive compared to my Ordinary Moisturizer. Would purchase it if it came in tube format. I have long nails, so I do not like creams getting stuck into it.

This cream really moisturized and got rid of any dry patches. Alot of times fact creams are heavy or oily. Finally a cream that maintains moisture for hours, feels light and not sticky. A little goes a long way so although you may be paying a little more it goes further and is worth it.

It smelled great, was so soft on my skin and gave my skin a perfect amount of hydration. Great for the cold winter months here in Canada. It didn't take long to dry. I decided to try it under my makeup and it also worked well as a primer.
I looked this up to see what the price was and I was surprised to see how affordable it is. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing it in the future. It's not very often that I see amazing products, that works so well at such a reasonable price.

After a long winter, this moisturizer was just the boost my skin needed! It is lightweight and no greasy, and makes the perfect base to apply make up to. The scent isn’t too strong and my face felt moisturized all day long. The value for this product is excellent - I felt like it performed just as well as some of the higher priced moisturizers I’ve used.

I didn't get to try this product for very long as I only received a sample size, but from the times I did use it I was pleased. It felt really light on my skin and didn't leave a thick oily coating like many moisturizers do. Furthermore it really helped moisturize my skin (I have fairly dry skin and noticed an improvement the day after using this). Would definitely recommend!

It doesn't have much of a scent to it which I like. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin which is great. It doesn't interfere with applying makeup over top either. My skin starts off dry and then gradually gets more oily through the day, this helps keep it moisturized in the mornings. I do not necessarily need the extra hydration through the day but I bet someone who has consistently dry skin would love it. I find the product to be a little on the pricier side but a little bit goes a long way, and you could make the jar last a long time. I received this produce in exchange for review, but I would consider purchasing in the future if I needed some extra hydration.

This is one of the best moisturizer out there. It’s super great for anyone with dry skin but you can also use it if you got oily or combo skin as well. This is a very lightweight formula that feels so incredibly amazing on the skin. It helps smooth texture and over all give your skin the hydration it needs and let me tell you it does my skin has never been so hydrated and feel so soft and smooth and gives it a beautiful natural glow it’s a major must have so go get your now.

It's a clearish gel that absorbs fast and completely without leaving behind any product. I've used a lot of face products that after absorbed create "slough" when I touch my face, but this one didn't do that at all. It provided just enough moisturization after I cleansed that I didn't have any dry skin, but also didn't have a shiny/oily face. It's scentless.

I find it comparable to gel moisturizers from more expensive, boutique brands in terms of quality, texture, and effectiveness. It's also light enough that I can put it on in the morning as I get ready, as a daytime moisturizer, or underneath makeup as a very smooth moisturizer/primer duo. It's also a very refreshing cream to put on when the weather gets warm, as gel moisturizers seem to have a cooling effect on the face - because of this, it also doesn't feel heavy or greasy, and I don't get scared about breaking out when I use it. The only thing I would change about it is the scent, which is a bit too powerful and reminds me of cheap soap used in public bathrooms.

It absorbed immediately, some what soothing to my skin and I saw an immediate improvement in my 60 year old skin. My face actually looked hydrated and generally healthier after the first use. This is now my new go to for face cream/gel. I really wasn't expecting to love it this much.

I expected my skin to feel like it just drank a glass of water but it felt like the average moisturizer in that category. I did receive a sample and sometimes the full product results are different so I may give it another try. I do recommend this product if you are looking for a good moisturizer.

I decided to use it in place of my moisturizer. It worked great and smoothed out my skin as my moisturizer would have. I felt like My skin stayed hydtrated all day, with no sticky or built up residue.
I would just like to see more details on the packaging as to what application this product is intended for.
