I usually have normal skin without any skin problems and I enoy gel creams especially in the warm weather. This one is super hidrating and layers amaizingly under makeup.It smells fresh and awakes you in the morning especialy if applied from the fridge(as a side note I always keep my day moisturizer in the fridge).I would . not use this during nightime as I prefer a more dense cream when I'm sleeping, but for daily use it does wonders.I will definately recomand this to my friends, woman and mens also.

I received a small free sample from Chick Advisor a few days before I left for holidays and it was a nice extra to throw into my toiletries bag to try alongside my everyday moisturizer. I loved this so much that when I run out of my moisturizer I'll be replacing it with Hydro Boost Gel Cream. I have sensitive combination skin and prefer very light gels and creams and this was perfect. No greasiness or irritation and left my skin feeling extremely smooth. It has a light scent which is indistinguishable moments after application. A little goes a long way.

With the name "hydro boost" I was expecting it to leave my face feeling totally quenched. Unfortunately, this moisturizer came up a little bit short for me. I have dry skin and so I need a rich moisturizer and this just wasn't rick enough. I liked the feel of the cream and it went on nicely, but I still felt my skin was not quiet moisturized enough. For normal skin, I'm sure it would be good, but for my dry skin, it wasn't exactly a home run. Thanks for the chance to review it!

I have never purchased this type of product before as I usually stick to traditional moisturizers instead. I was pleasantly surprised with this product after using it for several days. A little bit of it really goes a long way to providing all day moisture and it smells great and feels good on my skin. It isn't overly greasy and doesn't make my face shiny which is nice! It's a little too pricey for me to think of using it regularly and will likely stick to traditional moisturizer but if I saw this on sale somewhere I would most likely pick it up again!

Its easy to apply and absorbs very quickly and doesnt make my skin oily and sticky like alot of other products do.
It also has a nice mild scent...Nothing too strong and I love the fact that its oil free because I tend to have quite oily skin. It made my skin feeling soft and refreshed and it was great for under my makeup, my makeup looked alot more even and smoother.

I got for free the Neutrogena hydro gel, it is a very lightweight gel moisturizer, really good if you like a non-greasy formula, then this is a good product, but be aware that the ingredients are not the healthiest ones and the scent reminds me of a laundry detergent that I once used, and I do not like it, but some people find it refreshing. There is no film feeling with this gel, definitely breathable. I find the price just right, it is a good product but it's just not for me, I think I am better off with other products.

This Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel cream meet all of my expectations in a cream... First off I love the idea of a gel versus a thicker cream while still providing excellent moisturizing benefits. This gel cream applies beautifully, smells great and provides all day long moisture for my combination skin. It also sinks into your skin really quickly so I'm able to move on to my makeup regimen that much quicker. I definitely recommend this product to friends and family, it's a great quality product for an excellent price!

My skin is very dry and I like that this cream instantly moisturizes my face and is non-greasy. During colder days - yes even in April, my skin does flake using this moisturizer or any of my other moisturizers - so you will still need to add a serum or oil to avoid this. However, this is no fault of the moisturizer as moisturizers are only absorbed at the higher layers of the skin. I still like the moisturizer and am considering on whether to switch over to this moisturizer. I would recommend to friends and family as a moisturizing cream.

Right now my skin in rather dry in certain areas of my face, neck and chest, so I used it all over. So far I'm actually liking it. The scent is nice, not too strong. The gel consistency reminds me of a serum, but the performance reminds me of a lotion. You do not need to use a lot. I works well under makeup and doesn't disturb the foundation which is a major bonus. I think this is something that I would get again.

It has a light fresh scent. It is a light gel, with a rich consistency, yet it melts into the skin very quickly and easily. Your skin is left feeling hydrated. No tightness afterwards. The scent does last in the skin for a little while, which give a nice fresh feeling. Great for make up prep.
I think this would be the perfect hydration cream for the hot summer months. I also think that it would be great for people who have combination/oily skin type. The value of this product is comparable to other mass brands found on the shelf.

I have combination skin at the moment due to medication (previously chronically dry) so picked this up as a cheap stop-gap because none of my old products were suitable for my now oilier skin.
This gives the perfect amount of moisturisation overall on my face, my drier bits still feel moisturised but my oiler parts just look glowy and I'm not dripping in oil.
It dries down to a nice finish and make up applies nicely over the top.
It does have a strong scent but I like it and it fades quickly when it dries.
If my skin ever goes back to dry I will probably switch over to the cream version as I don't think the gel would be moisturinf enough on its own but for now this works great for me.

I love gel creams. I have extremely dry skin and I find a gel formula always seems to work best for me, however I have to be very generous when applying it because my skin seems to absorb it up in seconds. I wasn't really able to tell if this product was working for me because I was not able to try it out for more than 2 days, but I really enjoyed how refreshing and hydrating it felt. I will likely pick up a full size and give it a shot when I run out of my current moisturizer.

I constantly feel my hands and arms and even face getting dry while I am running around through the day. This is a great little gel that applies and fries very quickly without leaving a sticky or oily résidu behind. I hate when my hand stay a bit sticky and I pick things up and it leaves behind filth yuck! That doesn’t happen with this amazing gel! I got one to try for free and I am in love! When t is empty I will definitely consider buying more!!

This gel cream is very light and refreshing. It absorbs quickly and has a cooling feel after it’s applied.
The light scent is similar to Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost sunscreen.
It’s hard to give this 5 stars because it has a single claim to be a moisturizer. However, I would more accurately describe it as a summer moisturizer. Would have been the perfect test during the summer months. Unfortunately, it’s still dry and cold where I am so it was not moisturizing enough for me.
In terms of pricing it’s above average for being an average product.

I have used a variety of different creams for my face, and have never used a product as effective and affordable as this gel cream.
I like to keep my creams in the fridge for a extra refreshing application, but this gel cream provides a new level of refreshment to my dry tight sensitive skin.
It works well in the winter when my skin tends to get extra dry, and also perfect for summer because it's cool on contact and fast drying.
With virtually no scent, it's completely safe for my sometimes-sensitive skin, and formulated with hyaluronic acid, it leaves my skin feeling super smooth and healthy.
Combine this gel with the Hydro Boost face mask and it will take your skin to a new level!!

There is absolutely no icky sticky feeling or wait time for it to be absorbed. It makes your skin feel really nourished and moisturized. It is a great cream to use before putting your make up on as it keeps your skin hydrated and makes your skin ready and a great base. It has a light feeling on the skin but that doesn't mean that it is not doing much. I packs quite a punch and makes your skin feel like skin should - loved and healthy!!

The first time I used this product I was amazed at how light and water the product was. It is super cooling and applies very smoothly onto the lay of skin. This gel cream feels incredible.
It gives my face a new feeling when I rub it in keeping my face fresh and moisturized throughout the day or night.
It has a soft , good smell to it. Not too much and not too little - its just right.
My biggest problem is keeping my face moisturized and this stuff completely eliminates that issue.
I love the soft and light feeling.
I want to use this stuff everyday - there are no downfalls to any of it!
I will be buying a full bottle/tube when I go out next!

It has been keeping my skin moisturizer throughout the day. I like that I get the feeling of moisturization without the oily sensation of the average moisturizing cream. It does feel a little tacky at times but overall a nice moisturizer for daily use under your makeup or just on its own.

This gel cream sinks right in and doesnt feel greasy yet provides full moisturizing for the day. The first couple days I had to put a little extra gel cream on my face but by day 3 I was using much less.
I love it has hyaluronic acid which helps keep water in my skin making it soft and smooth, being fragrance free, dye free and oil free is a plus in my books.
I took it on vacation with me to see if it made my skin greasy in the heat but it didnt.
Id buy this again; bonus that the packaging is recyclable.

It is light, absorbs quickly into the skin, and leaves your skin hydrated all day. I love it for under makeup because there is zero greasiness. 4 stars for the cost, as its a little pricier than other moisturizers but still great quality for what you are paying for.

I recently purchased this product because I wanted a good gel moisturizer. Neutrogena's hydroboost provides a good price point compared to many of the higher name brands. The one down side is that this product contains blue dye and fragrance. I found the fragrance very overwhelming and both this and the dye are unnecessary ingredients that just irritate skin. I found the product to moisturize well, and the moisture was long lasting. I really enjoy the lightweight gel texture But I could not keep using because of the fragrance was to strong for my liking and the dye was slightly irritating to my skin.
Luckily I found they also make a version of this for extra dry skin which is fragrance and dye free.

I was looking forward to trying this product as in the winter I suffer from very dry skin. The light gel consistency absorbs quickly not greasy. It definitely feels very light and cooling. I didn’t find it very moisturizing though. Perhaps in the summer on a rainy day this would be a good product for moisturizing, otherwise, it doesn’t offer enough moisturization. I don’t doubt the quality is good, it just doesn’t seem to be all that good at what it advertises to be. Despite the claim of being fragrance-free, there is a mild fragrance, but Not offensive.

I have heard amazing things about this product so I purchased it hoping I would love it as much as everyone else does. It is fairly pricey for a drugstore product so I had high hopes. I'm not usually a fan of gel moisturizers and this one ended up being no exception. I put it on and it immeadiately sunk right into my skin, leaving it feeling more dry and tight as if there was a film over my skin. I woke up the next day with big cystic acne bumps all over my face. I tried using it a few more days but I ended up returning out. The ingredients in this product are not good if you have acne prone skin and I would not recommend it unless perhaps you have very oily skin and you just want something lightweight.

I really like this product. I received it free for testing purposes. I’m trying it out, I found it to be extremely light, and hydrating. Some moisturizers do not absorb well into my skin, and end up sitting there and clogging my pores. This one did not do that. My skin absorbed it really quickly, leaving my skin moisturized and clean feeling. This definitely is my new favourite. I love that you can find it easily at any drugstore, and that the price is affordable compared to other big brand skincare names. I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a new moisturizer.
