The non-comedogenic formula means this face sunscreen won't clog pores. Made water- and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes. Oil-free. In an airport-friendly size of 88ML.; Oxybenzone free formula. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging.
Directions: Adults and children over 6 months of age:
Apply generously 15 min before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours, after 80 min of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel drying.

A Burning Sensation
Friends and I recently travelled to Mexico and I bought this product for us all to use. I have sensitive skin (for sun screen) and was happy to read that it was dermatologist tested, was a high protection and did not contain paba which is an irritant for me. My friends and I all used it and found that we all had a burning sensation when we applied it. I thought it was perhaps the heat, I washed my face and reapplied and again the burning sensation was there. My friends also experienced the same thing. Thankfully we had another product to use. I am a Neutrogrena user for other products and think they are great (see below). This one does not get my recommendation.

I've purchased Neutrogena sunscreens before and have never had any issues. I decided to try this one when I saw it, and for the first month and a bit it was working fine. Applied well. No residue or white cast. Then it started to come out watery. I thought if I just shook the bottle it would be fine to still use. Boy was I wrong! The sunscreen has completely separated and I can't apply it properly. First a liquidly oil comes out, and then a bit of white after. I wish I could post the pictures I took. What frustrates me is the bottle is still basically full but unusable. The expiration date says February 2024, so the fact that I now have to trash this practically new bottle makes me very disappointed.

White streaks on face
I use a lot of neutrogenaproducts and love each of them. This sunscreen is the exception. It leaves white streaks on my face. No matter how much i massage my face, after it dries, it will leave white lines here and there. At first i thought i was putting too much on. After reducing the amount, white marks will still show after it dries. Also, i have naturally tanned complexion and my friends always know i have neutrogena ultra sheer on bc it leaves a white sheen. I want to love this product bc it is trlu ultra sheer, but I'm not happy with the streaks and sheen. Has neutrogena tested this product on visible minorities with darker skin tones?

Not lightweight, does not absorb, stays sticky
While the product itself claims to be non-greasy, I find it kicks my own oiliness up to a whole other level. I can feel it on my face, even 3 hours later! If I touch my face after so long, it feels greasy. My nose becomes a shiny oily mess. It doesn't make me break out or anything, but it just makes my face feel gross. Almost like a thick layer of silicone is on my face (smooth but icky). I have worn foundation every day for the past 10 years, so I'm not particularly picky about a mask-like feeling. I quit wearing makeup all together 3 months ago, and started using retinol. To protect my face after retinol treatments, I began using this more often. Once this tube of sunscreen is done, I will not be buying another.

Left ingrowns and pimples
I wore this a couple of times and immediately stopped using it. I applied it for a few days and soon after I had painful huge bumps and acne breakouts. I did already have acne and was trying to clear it up so I thought it might be my cleanser. However, I stopped using this sunscreen After weeks of not using the sunscreen though, I applied it again and I had the same reaction.

Excellent sunscreen for the face!
I love this sunscreen for the face. I use this every Summer and it has helped to protect my skin while at the beach. Other sunscreens feel greasy, but not this Ultra Sheer sunscreen.

This is hands down one of the best SPF lotions on the market. And a trusted brand within the Peoples of Color community. Highly recommend it for Darker-skinned folks however it's a great buy for any skin or colour or type! Please bring this to Well.ca :)

Perfect for oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin
I love this sunscreen! I am very picky about face lotions because I have oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. This lotion is very lightweight, quickly absorbed, and feels matte on the skin. It has never caused a break out or irritation on my skin.
