Made Me Ill - Do Not Recommend
First of all there is only roughly 10-20% of the volume of this product that contains "crunch", the rest is chili oil.
The ingredients say spices but not which spices which produces an awful resultant taste vaguely reminding me of cinnamon or other warming spices.
The spices make up big weird inedible chunks within the "crunch" that I had to spit out/scrape out of my food.
But most significantly I was incredibly sick for 5 hours after eating this. I got struck with full body chills, body aches and stomach pains - had this on eggs and I had to cancel my plans for the day.
Have not been feeling unwell since I recovered and I've eaten from the same carton of eggs earlier this week and since trying this product without issue. So this product is absolutely the culprit. I don't have food allergies to almost anything I would expect to be in a chili crunch, and I have excellent heat/spice tolerance.
The other similar product from this company (the Sacha-ish chili crunch) is mostly just miso paste with some additional flavor but at least the product is full, tastes close to what I expected and did not make me ill.
