BEWARE IF YOU WANT YOUR SKIN BARRIER INTACT!
I agree with the reviewer that this is way too harsh. I suspect that using this product makes your face feels smooth because you have just torn off bunches of skin cells (remember years ago the court cases over a different exfoliant that tore people’s skin). It’s an awesome foot scrub though!

The face scrub I've been searching for!
This face scrub is luxurious! It's a thick, dark green paste that goes on like a dream and leaves your skin fresh and soft. This is my new essential because of how great my skin feels afterwards. I am 45 but still prone to acne so exfoliation is key and this stuff is just the ticket.

Don't buy this
I have sensitive skin and have liked other Acure products. But this is a horrible scrub. Even with a small amount, my skin has bled. It is way too harsh. It's more like a foot scrub- not a face scrub. Beware if you have sensitive skin. Very disappointed.

Lovely, effective scrub
I decided to try this after dealing with some medication-related breakouts. After two uses, my skin is already improved. The texture is like wet sand, and the scent is very gentle. So far, no reactions despite having sensitive skin. Overall, would recommend.

Bright soft skin. This works!
I’ve been buying this on repeat for two years now and it’s a very effective product. Feels and smells great. It lasts me about 6-8 weeks and I only need to use a small amount every other day to get amazing results. I hope they never change the formula.

Perhaps my new favorite scrub...
Some face scrubs are disappointing because there isn't much "grit" in them, for lack of a better word. This scrub, however, is very "gritty". That's how I like it! It's invigorating and feels like it's doing a good job of exfoliating.

Good scrub, not for sensitive skin
The scrub will definitely get dead skin off your face, but it can be a little rough if you have sensitive skin. I usually mix a bit of this scrub into a gel cleanser to add some exfoliation.

First time using this. I bought based on several good reviews. It is a very grainy scrub and I have been using it twice a week. My skin is beginning to get dull, I’m over 50. I’m not sure it’s brightening my skin but my face feels great and no flakes or dryness.

I have combo, acne prone, sensitive skin and this makes a big difference. I use it in the evening and leave it on while I brush my teeth then gentle wash it off. Keeps my skin clear and exfoliated. Smells earthy like clay but not in a bad way.

I really enjoy this cleanser. It's a nice exfoliant, not too gentle, but without being too harsh stripping. A perfect balance in my opinion.
I use it every other day, so I use a cream or gel cleanser on the days between.
