Description
Cleans better than bleach. Yeah, that's right. affresh Washer Cleaner gives odor, mold and mildew a swift kick with just one tablet, once a month.
How it Works: The specially formulated tablets are designed to penetrate, dissolve and remove odor-causing residue throughout the entire wash cycle.
Directions:
- Empty your washer.
- Place one tablet of affresh® Washer cleaner directly in the washer tub - not in the dispenser.
- Run the washer on a clean washer cycle or a normal cycle with a hot water setting.
- Simply wipe away any residue that may be left behind after the cycle ends.
- Throw away whatever cleaners you were using before.
- And, always be sure to follow your washer's Use & Care Guide for instructions on proper maintenance.
*For washers with a "Clean Washer" cycle, add one tablet to the washer and run the cycle.

I live in tnr basement of a house witn the landlord upstairs and the washer is his. I asked if he would mind if we tried it and he didn't. It seemed to work on this washer ans clean it. The clothes seem to come out better after using it( this washer is pretty old and probably never been cleaned). I think he was going to purchase them to use more often.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It left the machine cleaner and removed some gunk that has been stuck in the sides of the inside of the machine. I really wish I took before and after photos. It made that much of a difference. I have a lot of minerals in my water and can leave the lighter colours a bit dingy after a while. Haven’t tried washing any clothing yet to see if it help for that issue just yet. But very hopeful

After using the tab, I wiped the door and the seal out to get rid of excess water that gets stuck there. Not only does the washing machine look new again, or clothes come out smelling really fresh and clean. This is a product that I will definitely, without a doubt be purchasing regularly.

The Afresh washing machine tab...

There was definitely a noticeable difference in the drum, door, and rubber seal; I never realized how dingy they were until after. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because a small bit of the detergent pieces were left in the machine and I had to run another cycle ( used clean machine setting).

My wash machine is brand new and the manual recommended using a machine cleaner after a certain number of loads of laundry, so this was great to help keep it clean and looking and smelling new without the mildew smell my old washer had.

I hated how my house would smell so strong from that. This cleaner was so much better. Such a nice fresh scent that was not overpowering at all. I can’t say whether or not it did anything to clean the internal components. After I followed the instructions I still had to scrub the drum. I’m sure it is more effective when you run it more regularly.

However I would use more than 1 tablet if you have people in the house that work with grease and oil as well as having pets, as I have that in my household and I ended up purchasing extra just to get our washer cleaner

This product does what it is supposed to do, but for the price of the product I would prefer to use my usual baking soda and white vinegar method for cleaning my wash machine (which seems to work just as well, without the extra chemicals and cost).
