Smells amazing!
The scent is natural and not overpowering. It works great...the only time it doesn't work optimal (requires reapplication) is when it's time to wax my underarms. Which is to be expected as odour likes to hang out when hair is present. Even still, it's not as noticeable, but everyone has different chemistry. The negative review on this deodorant could be due to a number of factors for that person. Remember, this is a DEODORANT not an ANTIPERSPIRANT...it's allowing your body to actually do it's job. So if you're a sweater, keep in mind you may need to reapply as needed. And if you're new to does, you need to go through a much needed detox.

Works well but feels sticky
This deodorant does the job well for a natural deodorant, it goes on very smooth and the smell is a faintly sweet smell that's natural and pleasant, it's not overpowering and I would say gender-neutral. I wore it all day and overnight, and the next day I was still smelling fresh. The only drawback for me was how sticky it felt, like I was always sweaty but not actually sweaty. I find this with all grocery store brand gel and clear solid deodorants though, so if you're used to that texture then this is a great buy!

Best deodorant ever!
Tried this coconut reishi deodorant today for the first time and I absolutely love this stuff. I was using some other deodorant that didn't have any of the nasty stuff in it and it didn't last very long at all. I have also been using dove lately and that stuff is just gross, I would get home at the end of the day and wash it off because I don't want whatever is in it sitting on my skin for any longer than necessary and I would literally scrub my pits with soap and still have residue left over, I would have to soap up at least twice and could still smell the deodorant. I put this Alaffia deodorant on about 7 hours ago and it still smells great and I can actually run my hand over my pits and absolutely nothing gets on my hand, no stickiness whatsoever gets on my hands yet my pits still smell great. If I did that with the dove I'd have have deodorant all over my hands. I can't believe how dry my pits are, yet they still smell great.. This stuff is awesome, smells really nice too.

Doesn't smell like coconut and somehow makes my B.O. way worse? I wouldn't recommend.

Does not provide 24 hour protection
I bought this product about a month ago, tried it for a week and found that armpit odor returns after maybe 15 hours. My only exercise is to walk every day. I have used another charcoal deodorant brand for over 3 years and it works well even after 24 hours.

Really nice deodorant, best I have ever used. My body likes it (I am quite sensitive) and it works well. Recommended.
