(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) If my sensitive skin is going to react to any product, it's most likely to be facial cleanser. Usually the ones that are most effective in preventing breakouts also irritate my skin. Not so with this product.
It has absolutely no scent and foams really well so I don't have to use too much of it. My skin feels really clean afterwards and not tight or dried out. I didn't have any adverse reaction, irritation, or redness while using this cleanser.
I would highly recommend this product to all sensitive-skinned people!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was very happy to try the Aveeno Ultra Calming Hydrating Gel Cleanser. I have sensitive skin so cleaners often leave my skin dry and very red. I have a hard time finding one i like. This product however fit all my needs. It doesn’t have a smell, it has a light smooth feel and is effective enough to clean away makeup and post gym sweat and grime. Plus too was that my face doesn’t go red and dry after, I don’t need to run to my moisturizer right away to soothe it. A definite plus. It the last few years I've been using mostly face wipes or micellar water to wash my face since I have so little time to take care of my skin, but after trying and using the Aveeno Ultra-calming hydrating gel cleanser for a little over a week now, I might just have to change my routine! I've really enjoy it! It did a fantastic job at cleaning my skin (it foams really easily too!) and removing my make-up and it left my skin feeling cool and calm, without redness and irritation. Aveeno did a great job with this product! I highly recommend it and I will definitely will be buying it again! #GotItFree

PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!!!
There are so many people on the internet that absolutely love this product and I’m one of those. It was the ONLY product that actually made my sensitive skin better. I loved everything about it and am so sad that it’s been discontinued. I’ve tried all the other similar Aveeno products and ended up returning all of them. Please consider bringing this back! I’ll be a customer for life!

I am getting older now, so I figured adding a morning facial wash to my routine is not a bad way to go, and I am a big fan of this one! I can't lie - I don't have much in the way of a comparison since this is my first time using a cleanser, but I found this one to be very light, non-irritating, and gentle on my skin. For a free product, I have 0 complaints, and I will definitely consider buying the same product again in the future (once I get through the full-size bottle I received for free ;) )

I think it would be good for certain skin types, but unfortunately, not mine.
I do have sensitive skin, but I also have acne-prone skin and I found after 11 days of using this, sure my skin felt soft and nice, but I have tiny little red acnes all over.
I do think that I need a stronger cleanser, and this one felt pretty soft going on and not like it was doing enough "deep cleaning".
I feel if you did not have acne prone skin this would work good for you.
I liked the smell and calming texture of the product.

1) removes my makeup
2) doesn’t leave my skin desert dry
I finally found it with this one though! It’s a very thick cleanser which I LOVE; a little goes a long way and it’ll last you much longer.
Not only does it removes all my makeup (yes, even mascara and eyeliner is gone without a trace!), but my skin does not feel stripped, dry and uncomfortable afterwards. I was so impressed with this cleanser. It’s as gentle as ones from Cerave I’ve tried, but even more effective.

So gentle.
It’s been about two weeks of using the Aveeno Ultra Calming cleanser. I use this in the am and pm. I got it free from chickadvisor to try. Got to say this cleanser is so soft on my skin. A dime size dab will gently wash your face, so this bottle will last forever. The gel lathers up in to a rich foam that leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed. It does leave my face feeling hydrated and healthy. After the last two weeks of trying this ultra calming cleanse, I have to say the cleanser is my favourite. Great for the whole family to use. Love that there isn’t any scent or perfumes. Gentle enough for my whole family sensitive skin.
