Badger's SPF 40 Clear Zinc Sunscreen starts out white but rubs in clear. It's so easy to apply you've got to try it to believe it! Perfect for the beach, swimming and light activity, this broad-spectrum formula is in a gentle, antioxidant-rich Sunflower Oil base. Active ingredient: 22.5% uncoated clear zinc oxide. Badger's clear zinc oxide sunscreens are less whitening on the skin and just as safe and effective as standard non-nano zinc oxide mineral sunscreens.

Directions: For full protection, apply liberally (2mg/cm2 of skin) to all exposed skin.

The dermatologists recommended a high zinc sunscreen but we hate when zinc sunscreens leave white film all over clothes and skin. Problem solved because this has clear zinc! It is a little greasy (what sunscreen isn't?) BUT it's way better than the alternatives. It's water resistant - a must with active kiddos. And look at that ingredient list! There are just FOUR ingredients, all of which you can read and understand. I just wish we found this sooner. Forget all the other brands that are marketed as baby-friendly, for sensitive skin, and designed for kids. Badger Sport Clear Zinc Sunscreen is the sunscreen you should get.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our current go-to We recently tried this sunscreen for the first time and are happy with it. I've been wanting to switch to a mineral sunscreen and like that it has so few ingredients. It is much thicker than traditional sunscreens, but does blend it well with some effort. It doesn't appear to leave a white cast, but we are a pale family, so that is likely not the case for everyone. The only down-side is the scent. While it is unscented, it has a natural scent, which my boys don't love, but can put up with.
