love this backpack! very durable! will be using it for the beach mainly. there is a metal snap to secure the backpack flap. the pocket inside is an open pocket. there is no zipper to keep the things inside it secure. the pockets on either side are the perfect size for a bottle of water. the drawstrings are sturdy and durable as well! very well made!
