Description
Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate Squares are 8 individually wrapped 28 g (1
oz) squares. Unsweetened chocolate is made with solid chocolate liquor with nothing added. Too bitter to eat but lends a great chocolate flavour to brownies and cakes. It is made from a blend of fine cocoa beans that are roasted, crushed and ground between large heated rollers. Unsweetened is the purest form of chocolate. It is satin smooth, rich in cocoa butter and best for baking.

Dislike the new packaging
The product quality is good but what happened to the wrapped 1 oz squares?? That's what I buy Baker's chocolate for. I really dislike the new "chocolate bar" packaging and encourage you to bring back the previous format. :(

old squares please.
Going off an older recipe which did not give an oz measurement, just 4 squares. Thought that looked odd when I opened package. Followed icing recipe I had and realized that "4 squares" is no longer the 4 squares we always used in recipes. The product is good just the packaging now throws a wrench into baking .

Disappointed in new packaging
Like the product. Excellent results in baking but why on earth did you change the size of squares and packaging? was so easy to melt the wrapped squares in the microwave. No fuss no mess! Sometimes change is just not necessary.
