We tried it, and we liked it!
I received this product as part of a paid partnership with Banana Boat. Banana Boat has been a brand in our house for many years. Being off for the entire summer means LOTS of adventures with my boys.
I really loved the NEW Simply Protect Kids Sunscreen. I loved the coverage I got and how hast it was absorbed. That meant no wrangling of the kids when it is was sunscreen time as it really was that easy to put on. Often my boys complain about sunscreen making them feel "weighed" down and would rather be inside then applying it.
After hours at the beach, camping and fishing we made it out with no issues and lots of great memories.

Great sunscreen option for the whole family
I received this product as part of a paid influencer program. My opinion has not been influenced in any way and is my own.
In our household, we prefer to use products with as few ingredients as possible, when possible. The fact that this sunscreen has less ingredients and works effectively and with ease gives it a two thumbs up in our household. It has no scent and goes on with relative ease. We have used it where we have been outside, in full sun for hours and it has proven to be effective for all of us (including me and my daughter who both have very fair, sunburn prone, skin).

Easy to Apply, Great Lasting Power
I received this sunscreen as part of a paid Banana Boat campaign, and I was so excited to give it a try. I want great sun protection, but I also like minimizing unnecessary ingredients when possible. Since the sunscreen can be used on little ones six months and older, it was perfect for my ten-month-old right up to my twelve-year-old.
The formula rubbed in very nicely; about ten seconds of rubbing had it fully absorbed in my boys' skin. I appreciated that it didn't cause any irritation in my two older boys, since they both have somewhat sensitive skin. And it provided the long-lasting sun protection I wanted for the sunny days outdoors we've had at sports recently.
Overall, I was very pleased with the sunscreen and will be taking it on our upcoming vacation to Ontario. We'll be spending a lot of time in the pool, so a water-resistant sunscreen is a must, and I know I can trust this one to protect my boys' skin.

Works great and perfect for sensitive skin
We have been testing the new Banana Boat® Simply Protect™ Kids Sunscreen Lotion for a few weeks, and we are loving it so far. The boys really dislike sunscreen sprays and prefer lotions, so this has been great for us. I like that it is super easy to rub in and it has a tear-free formula, great when dealing with impatient kids who move a lot while I am applying it.
We usually apply an even layer on the boy's faces, their neck, ears, arms and legs, every morning after they come out of the shower and before going to school, they also re-apply at school before recess or when going outside mid-day.
So far their skin has been fully protected, and we haven't experienced any sunburns or skin sensitivities. I like that the sunscreen lotion has a minimal-ingredient formula that's mild and gentle enough for even the most delicate skin.

It works!

It offers tear-free mineral-based protection with 25% fewer ingredients, no added fragrances and oils and provides Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protection. It works wonderfully for us with its mild mineral-based formula designed for kids.

Absorbs Easily - Residue Free
Beyond the features like being paraben free, with no added oil or fragrances (I love scented products but don't necessarily want to smell like a coconut all day) I like how easily this absorbs in my kid's skin. No residue left behind, just apply and go which is great. Tear-free also makes it more comfortable on busy sweaty little faces.

Junk.
This product is junk. Applied to my 8 year old daughter every hour while we were at the lake. And myself because I didn't have any adult stuff on hand. I figured 50+ SPF should be good.. both my daughter and I are burnt to a crispy and in pain the next day. I'll be looking for a new company to to with next time. This is ridiculous.

Extra Protection With Fewer Ingredients

As a travel and health writer, and a parent with a pool it’s important to me to protect my kids – and their friends if we’re hosting a pool party. Just today we had a bunch of kids over again for the long weekend and we spent the day in the pool with Banana Boat Simply Protect Kids nearby.
Banana Boat Simply Protect Kids is perfect for us because it goes on easily, and it’s safer for skin. That makes me happy. It uses 25% fewer ingredients, eliminating unnecessary, toxic ingredients like parabens, oxybenzone, and added fragrances and oils. What’s more, both their lotion and spray varieties are tear-free, making them perfect for kids.
Great coverage and 50 SPF is what I look for these days for my kids. One is super fair and needs at least a 50 SPF. This product is mild and gentle for sensitive skin and also it is water resistant lasting up to 80 minutes. PERFECT for pool days and beach days too.
