Description

Directions: It's recommend applying with your fingertips. If brush is preferred, you can also apply with the Smoothing Face Brush. 

1. SHAKE WELL before applying to incorporate the mattifying mineral powders uniformly and evenly into skin.
2. Squeeze a pea size amount onto the fingertips.
3. Apply beginning on the cheeks at the center of the face, blending outward.
4. Work onto skin until the product is fully blended.
5. Allow time to dry down to its natural matte finish.
6. To build coverage where needed, press a small amount of product on with your fingertips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best for Combination/Oily Skin I had read a lot of negative reviews about this product but was so desperate to replace my original bareminerals complexion rescue hydrating tinted moisturizer, I had to try it. I have combination skin that tends to be oilier in the summer and dehydrated in the winter. I had always loved the original from this brand, except found it too moisturizing for me in summer and would have to keep adding a setting powder in my T-Zone. This product, I think, was in response to those of us with oilier complexions who needed a great tinted moisturizer to “rescue” our complexions with a more mattifying, oil-controlling version (with the original being geared towards dry/normal complexions needing more moisture). I think this confusion between the two products (many people simply thinking it’s just a matte version to the original) coupled with the timing of their launch of this product (fall=drier skin) and discontinuing the much-loved original— bareminerals really created some unnecessary chaos here. I personally love this matte version for my combo skin, I just really need to add extra moisture in winter before applying this product. I’m sure I won’t need to in summer. I would give it 5 stars but took 1 away for the way bareminerals treats their loyal customers by continually discontinuing customer favourites and failing (on occasion) to clearly explain new products. Bottom line, this product is for combo to oily complexions needing excess oil and shine control which means everyone who loved and trusted the original hydrating version will have to look elsewhere or wait for a re-launch. I wouldn’t hold my breath though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for oilier skin types Great coverage for a tinted moisturizer. I have combination skin that is drier in winter but can get oily in summer. I’ve learned that this product is best for me in warmer months. It is definitely more of a natural matte that still gives a bit of radiance to the skin. I like the overall effect but sometimes still need to pat a mattifying powder on my T-zone. I hope they restock on this formula so I can get my summer shade ;)
