Great quality, but not the strain for me
Beautiful candle in terms of packaging and aesthetic, and the intensity of the fragrance is great. I’m on the fence about the fragrance- it’s always tricky to imagine a scent accurately but I was expecting something a little brighter, herbaceous and lightly floral. Instead, I’d describe this candle as heavy, heady like perfumed oil and dried petals. Possibly like the fancy well-vintaged guest soap you might find in your great aunt’s powder room. Far more dank and luxurious than what I was anticipating. I’ll have to give some thought as to whether I’ll spark it up, or perhaps send it back, hopefully for someone else to enjoy instead.
