Directions: Apply the flat edge of the Burt's Bees Matte Stick directly to your upper lip. Follow the curve of your upper lip until the product covers the entire lip. Follow the same process along your lower lip. Repeat as necessary until you have achieved your desired colour payoff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for no-makeup makeup lovers! I have this is Liquid Honey and Liquid Ruby and this is one of my favourite lipsticks. The finish is matte but not a flat or liquid lipstick matte. They have a balmy texture and the colours are very flattering. They can be worn sheer and the pigment is buildable. Great for everyday or lighter makeup looks. It’s like a less dry and version of Glossier’s Gen G Lipsticks. These are comfortable but not moisturising. They ARE matte lipsticks so I wasn’t expecting them to be. I just wish the packaging was a little better. It’s flimsy and for the price I feel like it could be better. Also it has carmine in it which isn’t a deal breaker but would’ve been really great if it didn’t.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would be a 5 in a different tube! I bought two shades - Buttery Blush and Canyon Creek. long time user of Burt’s products. The shades are beautiful and the matte formula is perfect - just the right amount of moisturizer. I put my Burt’s peppermint lip balm under and on top of it. Lasts for hours. BUT I am very disappointed with the tube it come in. If you don’t peel all of the label off you cannot close it. It doesn’t come off clean when only tearing the top lid half off and then lid doesn’t secure and comes off. In your bag. And the tube gets dented. It happened to both tubes on two occasions in different bags. I don’t know if I will buy this again unless the tube is improved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favourite matte lipstick! I have been using this lipstick for a year now, and it has become my absolute favourite! The colour is beautiful, the application is smooth, it doesn’t dry out my lips, and the colour is subtle for everyday use and is buildable for a bolder look. I find that I need a bit of lip balm first before applying this lipstick, but I do the same with my other matte lipsticks. The reason that I’m giving it four stars is that the slanted cap squishes the top of the lipstick if not aligned properly every time you close it, and then the tube gets warped at the top. Otherwise lovely product for a good price. Please keep making these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product so much This is the only daily lipstick I use now. The shades are very pretty and natural looking. I put layers of different shades on my lips. Buttery blush or Rhubarb rapids then Liquid honey on top. I love the matte look, I don't find this dry at all once you break through the top layer. If I want it to be more shiny I add lip gloss but I don't find myself doing that often. The only shade that I find smells slightly like crayons is Liquid honey, the other ones are sort of flowery smelling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for mama bears I stopped wearing lip gloss/tinted balm/lipstick when I had my baby since I didn't want to put colors in her hair or on her face. This mate stick is just perfect, adds some color without smudging everywhere. I love that it doesn't smell anything. Of course it doesn't hydrate but I use it for the color, not the hydration. Lip balm by night and Matte Stick by day.

This Matt Stick is dry and has a very bad taste maybe the product is old, it tasts like how rancid oil smells. Very disapointed with this product. I checked the ingredient to make sure it didn't have a petroleum product.

To begin with, they are designed that you have to retract the stick every single time or you wreck it... But, they are awful product. I don't know if they are old stock... but they are so dry they are breaking up under application pressure. Contacting support!
