Buy something else
These filters truly do *nothing*.
I did a test on the amount of slime and mold in the catit fountain and I tested 5 days with filter and 5 day no filter, it was less nasty on the test without the filter.
It really doesn’t do a thing but collect mold it’s very gross. I regret this water fountain because it’s never clean despite me cleaning every 4-5 days

Filters
These filters seem to work well. I gave the fountain away thiugh brcausr my cat was afraid if the stainless steel plate and I found it fussy to clean... but if you have Pixi fountain then you need these. I like that these filters have a lot less plastic than the filters for the other fountain (with the flower).

These are super!
I do like the filters, and I do replace monthly just to be safe. Water is so important for our cat’s kidneys. I do think that these are priced well too.
