CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum is a gentle yet effective daily Retinol cream Serum that provides a variety of anti-aging benefits. Directions: Apply in small dots where needed around the face. Gently smooth until thoroughly absorbed. Use alone or under makeup once or twice a day

Happy with it
I am just about finished my first tube and I am satisfied with the results. Reading the other reviews I am assuming the bottle has been modified. I love love love the way this serum is contained in an air tight tube with a simple press of the pump and the perfect amount comes out. Not sure why some of the other reviews were so put off by the colour. Yes it is a yellowish colour but what does that matter?? As far as helping with wrinkles....well in my opinion that is not something that I can see working with any skincare product. I love the consistency and how nicely it is absored by my skin. I will be buying again.

Excellent Affordable Serum
I was delighted to see CeraVe finally made a serum with Retinol available in Canada. High end ingredients at a drug store price. I have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with Retinol which this serum contains. So far, this serum has not caused irritation, but I have been slowly climatizing my skin to accept both Retinol, and the Retin-A I use 2 times per week. Never use Retinol on the same night as the Retin-A, and also use a sunscreen during the day when using Retinol as it can cause your skin to be sensitive to UV rays.
Not sure why this serum caused a ball up on another reviewer. My skin tends to be on the oily side, and I have not had a problem with this serum. I will buy again.

Nice introductory retinol serum!
I really enjoy the texture of this serum and I use it in my PM routine 5 day a week. It feels creamy and moisturizing and the encapsulated retinol is non-irritating. I don't know what results I'm seeing though because I think it may be my AHA+this serum+moisturizer that's leading to an improvement in my skin texture, tone, radiance, and hydration. But nevertheless, it's a good introduction into the world of retinols. I also wish that they would indicate the percentage of retinol that's in the serum on the packaging itself so you know exactly what strength of retinol you're getting.

I have mature, generally dry skin and I like this product because small amounts spread easily and absorb into the skin well. I use this product with CeraVe's soap and anti-aging night cream every night before going to bed.

I purchased the product about a month ago but it was in a squeeze tube, not a pump bottle. The nozzle on the squeeze tube is supposed to turn and I assumed open the tube, allowing the serum to flow. Nothing came no matter how hard I squeezed. Finally some dribbles came out if I applied pressure with the heel of my foot. That worked twice until the squeeze tube gave to my efforts and the whole lot shot out the bottom of the tube, all over the floor and onto the bathroom wall two feet away. Can't say the product is any good, but I swear the bathroom wall looks ten years younger. I do like the other products I've used though, and I think I've since found a similar CeraVe product in pump form, which I'm trying out. But it isn't a creamy yellow, it's a white. Wish me luck!

Genuine results!
I absolutely adore this serum. I've convinced my partner and mother to start using it as religiously as I do. I've seen a reduction in fine lines around my forehead and smile lines. Even gentle enough to use around my eyes. Could not recommend this enough!

Terrible not for sensitive skin
I bought this instead of olay or Neutrogena as it was recommended due to my sensitive skin. I have no problem using retinol products every other day but was hoping for something with everyday use. I used it once and my face broke out in hives and was itchy and burning for days. Even taking allergy meds didn't calm it down for a few days. Terrible stuff.

I recommend this product
I purchased after reading the ingredients. Compares to high end pharmacy derm brands at half the price. It is non-irritating. I used at nighttime only and did not add another night cream with it. Not good for during the day for me as it caused my makeup to ball up. Can't say much about how effective it is as I have been using high end skincare for years and am using it more preventively than corrective.
