White residue
This moisturizer forms tiny white clumps that I have to brush off my face. It leaves a visible white residue on my already pale skin, which would likely be even more visible on darker skin tones. My face becomes very shiny quite quickly. It just seems like my skin can't breathe while wearing this moisturizer.

I use crave lotion, cream and everything that I use in my skin is cerave I love it my skin is so smooth like a baby. I recommend this to everyone that ask me what I use. This product is a must have to people who struggle to find something to smooth their skin I think the company should use me lol I love it

Eyelids swollen along with hooded eyes after using
Purchase this product it felt amazing at application however throughout the day I noticed my face was became slightly itchy in certain places. When I got home from work, eight hours later immediately washed my face and went to bed and woke up in the morning with a complete breakout in my eyes were swollen.

NO, NO, NO!
I got it because I wanted to get rid of acne scars and needed sun protection and I'm so disappointed. For reference, I have dry skin and I'm a dark-skinned black person. This product left me grey, ashy and dry. The white cast is horrible. I don't know if I am using it wrong, but it's horrible. 1/10

It’s alright
Have been using this for a month and I’m not as big of a fan as I thought I would be, my pores are clogged and my acne is worse, and sometimes it leaves white lines or patches so I try to rub it in and the product pills up. Not moisturizing either, my skin has never been drier. Bit of a bummer

Terrible White Cast
All of my skincare products are from Cerave. I don’t have any issues with any of them except for this one. It leaves an obvious white cast although my skin is light. When you try rubbing it, the product peels off.
The team needs to revise the formula to make this product easier to apply.

Greatly disappointed, it pills.
Not a great product. Tried using this product several times, layering it and on a naked face and no matter what I did this product pills. I was quite disappointed as most of their other products are pretty great. I will not be repurchasing this again nor would I recommend it to a friend.

Moisturizing but pils and burns eyes
I bought this a couple of months ago. The first time I used the SPF it worked well, but then afterward it stated to pill and burn my eyes like crazy! So unfortunate because I thought that I had finally found a sunscreen that was moisturizing and didn’t burn my eyes, but no the case.

I broke out really bad the day after using this and it sits on top of your skin without moisturizing at all. It feels rubbing straight sandpaper on your skin. I do not recommend this product to anyone!! even if you have normal to oily skin it doesn’t do anything at all.

terrible! leaves a white cast (my skin tone is light/medium) and it always pills! it can’t because of my skin texture because i see others with the same problem! it also leave the fingers greasy and feels greasy. do not recommend at all!

great cream. lousy bottle
received this yesterday. I love that there is no fragrance and love the cream but the pump won't work. I pump and pump and pump and nothing comes out. I have to unscrews the top and take the cream off the straw like tube.

Great moisturizer
This is a great moisturizer, and is a 30 SPF. My only problem is that my cheeks (the central part of my face) is reddend. There is no itchiness, just reddend. I would like to wear this with no foundation, but I cannot.

Love this stuff!
Across every website, pilling/rolling is the number one complaint of this product. To avoid this, apply after a shower over damp skin. The product rubs in nicely and leaves no sticky residue.

I have pretty sensitive skin and acne, and have been managing it with cerave cleanser and moisturizer for a couple years which works decently, so when I came across a face sunscreen of the same brand I thought it would be great because I don’t wear makeup (because of acne) and so there’s no layers in between the moisturizer and sunscreen that might add risk of it not sitting well. Every time I put this on though, I do everything right and let my moisturizer dry sufficiently between steps, but still I get horrible pilling and chunking of the sunscreen as well as a stinging sensation that is pretty unpleasant. I find this really disappointing because it wasn’t cheap and it makes my face look oily and all separated and I wish I could just remove it but that would mean I would have to rewash and moisturize my face which just isn’t possible sometimes if I’ve already left my house or I’m reapplying sunscreen. I know that other people have no issues with this sunscreen snd so maybe I just have skin that’s more sensitive than I thought and I need to find something that’s really gentle and sits right.

Really wanted to like this
The biggest problem I have with this moisturizer is that it balls up and pills when you try to rub it in. This makes it difficult to re-apply during the day as well as you're supposed to.

Does not work well with serums
Does not work with retinol serum. I tried it and it made my face look like it was peeling. Would be good if you use a very basic skincare regime, with no serums. It smells great!

Great ingredient list!
For a drugstore brand, this would be the best moisturizing sunscreen I have found! The ceramides protect agaisn't pollutants, all the active UV ingredients and even niacinamide!
