Insanely good product
I have really dry, rough, and itchy skin. (And strawberry legs) And although I moisturize every day, I kind of just accepted that that’s how my skin was. I got this cream because I really love all of cerave’s other products, however did not expect to be so amazed. Here’s a before and after, I’ve only been using it for TWO WEEKS!! Like what??

A pleasant surprise
I severely damaged my moisture barrier after using a cleanser that was highly inappropriate for my skin type and climate, and I thought I'd never be able to get it back to where it was. I'm not usually sensitive but my poor choices left my skin reacting to every moisturizer I used with blotchy redness and inflammation, especially on my nose and the horizontal section next to it on either cheek. Aside from a few raw ingredients, this is the only thing my skin isn't reacting to, and I'm actually making progress with my moisture barrier.
The smoothness I feel after putting this on at night is unlike anything else I've tried in the past, even before becoming damaged. Everything else I've tried has either left me feeling dry again as soon as it's absorbed, or it's left a tacky residue on my face that seems to last all night long, but this only takes seconds to massage into my skin and the hydration is really natural and sustained. When I touch my face it doesn't feel like 'oh I just put on a product' it just feels like healthy skin, as it should.
I definitely think this is worth considering if you have sensitive, problem skin, but I'm going to continue with this once my skin is normal because it works so well and eliminates several steps in my routine. Absolutely worth buying.

This product is fabulous. Had had treatment for skin cancer on legs. Used this product afterwards and now have smooth soft legs. Positively great stuff. Recommended by my dermatologist. Had to find in stores with SA - don't want to be without it.

Revived my flaky, splotchy cheeks!
I bought this product several months ago after searching high and low for a moisturizer that could get me through the winter. Typically, my cheeks are red and splotchy right out of the shower, and remain dry and flaky throughout the day. Makeup then cakes up and doesn't sit nice. Since using this product, my skin has become much more smooth, no breakouts, no bumps, and almost all my red patches on my cheeks are gone. I am amazed by how well this cream performs.

Fabulous Cream - Highly recommended
My dermatologist recommended this cream for my severely dry hands. They crack and bleed in the winter months. It is the only product that has healed my hands. I apply it every night at bedtime and my hands are as good as new by morning. This is an excellent product - especially for people with eczema.

Saved my eczema prone skin
I have eczema and dermatitis which causes my skin to be dry and rough.
My face this winter has been extremely dry (Canadian winters eh). I bought so many fancy cleaners and moisturizers but my skin remained red, textured, and flaky.
I went to the pharmacy and this was recommended to me along with the SA cleanser. I've used both for a month and it's like my skin has completely changed. It's the smoothest it's ever been, and so moisturized.

Amazing for scalp and legs
I have an undercut and my scalp can get irritated easily. This fixed it. Also use it on legs if I start to get red bumpy spots from shaving or ingrowns. Greatly reduced these! Can't live without it and it goes out of stock so fast!

Good product
Be patient with this cream and use it daily for noticaable results. It takes a bit longer to apply than a lotion would as it is quite thick but I can still feel it on my skin 24 hrs later.. even though it is not greasy. The tub container means you can scrape out every last bit . I would definitely buy again.

I had just purchased a jar of CeraVe SA Cream for Rough & Bumpy Skin. I was excited to try this cream out to help clear my skin. However, when I first used the cream I noticed a weird texture. There were shards of plastic for crystals in the cream. I don’t think that is how the cream is supposed to be which is why I didn’t continue using it because I didn’t know if those shards of plastic were safe on my skin. Was really excited to try this product but was dissatisfied with the jar I received.

Was afraid to use non natural..now I am a believer
This removes the dead rough skin that would make my skin feel so tight. No amount of exfoliation could remove it. And then I would need to apply so much moisturizer to protect my tight dry rough skin. I can't believe in 4 days..my elephant skin is almost fully smooth... I don't like to use non natural products and was worried it wouldn't work..but I am glad I did.

Fantastic!!
I have been using this cream for about a year and cannot live without it. It has literally changed the life of my skin. I have always suffered from dry skin and keratosis pilaris- and for the first time in my life it is gone! I also used this on my daughter’s skin which is also very dry and bumpy. Amazing product and I highly recommend!!

Plastic shards??
I'm on the fence because this cream has been very helpful for my eczema, but my jar is FULL of plastic shards. One of them gave me a splinter. I'm almost positive I got a defective jar :(

Seems crystallized
Loved it the first few weeks I used. I switched to the regular cream to use with retinol but switched back to this one on nights I’m not using an active and noticed shards or something as if it was crystallized. Not sure if it affects the cream or not but hesitant to use any more

Disappointed
I had heard good reviews about this cream and was actually recommended it by a dermatologist..the first few uses I liked it but now there are sharp pieces of glass or plastic or something that is all throughout! Will be throwing this in the trash and not purchasing anymore :(

Pros and also Cons
I was loving how soft my skin felt with this cream until the yellowing started around my eyes from the salicylic acid and burning on my eyelids. I love Cerave, but this product caused havoc on my skin. Will stay away from this line of their products.

It's the only cream that works for my husband!
It's thick, but not greasy. It's the only product that we've found that works for my husband's skin condition... It's really unfortunate that we can't find it anywhere in store or online the last few months :( :(

Plastic??

Small flecks of something in jar
There are little flecks of something in the jar? The top layer was fine but towards the middle I noticed them. Not sure what they are. This didn't happen when I bought my first jar. Bad batch maybe??
