Consistency is impossible to use
I purchased both this cleansing gel and the foam pump in the acne line at the same time expecting to like the gel more. Unfortunately, this gel feels like water in a squeeze tube. I couldn't tell you if it helped my skin as I'm sure most of it ran through my hands and into the sink. I don't understand why this isn't a standard gel consistency for a face wash. Extremely disappointed and would not buy this one again though I've been extte Ely happy 2ith other Clinique acne products. Try the foam instead if considering this acne line.

Acne and dark spot reduction after 30 days
I used this along with the step 2 clarifying lotion and dramatically different moisturizer. I got the trial size set and took pictures at night 15 and 30. I have cystic hormonal acne and I have seen a reduction in the amount of breakouts and healing time. My dark spots are also lightening. It's not a miracle worker but it is an effective salicylic acid product. I always lather on my hands first then massage on my face for a full minute. I have not used it without the clarifying lotion so I'm not sure how well it works on its own. If you can start with the trial size set its definitely worth the try!

Best cleanser for acne prone skin.
I've been using this cleanser for over a year and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I prefer this over the foam cleanser as it lasts longer, however, the packaging is not as convenient. This cleanser works wonders at removing oil buildup, makeup and sunscreen from your skin without drying it out. I noticed a reduction in my acne within a week or so of purchasing it and can no longer live without it. Hands down my favourite clinique product!!!

Clear Clean Skin
I really liked this but am soooooooo sad the Acne Solutions cleansing bar soap is gone. I had previously stocked up and had many bars and finally just finished my last one and then bought this as a replacement but it's not the same. I can understand the ease of use factor but the bar soap had such a fluffy lather and it lasted forever. This liquid version does the job but it's super runny and when I squirted it out, way too much product flowed out. And the lather was meh. I don't understand why the bar soap is gone in Canada when it's still available in the US but I can't buy it because Clinique.com doesn't ship to Canada. Overall it worked. Although the product design team could make the cleanser a thicker consistency like the old oil-free gel cleanser and improve the lather to be fluffier.

Skin feels great!
I bought this as an alternative to the acne solutions foam cleanser as I just like the way the gel feels over the foam. I have to say the gel makes my skin feel much cleaner. I've also used it with the Sonic head brush and my skin could not be more happy!

Protects skin from future acne break out!
I have used this in the past when I have acne break outs. Now my daughter does. She is a Clinique fan too. The Acne Solution line of Clinique is so effective and yet gentle. No irritation!

Cleared up my acne
I first tried this as a sample from the bay counter and I immediately noticed a difference in tone and texture. I ordered it from Clinique and over the last month it's cleared up my breakouts and made my skin better. I've also started using the three step system in conjunction with this and I haven't gotten breakouts like I used to. Skin and life saver!

Love the product, not the texture
Much more liquid-y than I was expected and than I would like. I like how the product works when it's lathered and it works well for my skin so I will continue to use it as necessary. I do wish it was more of a thick gel, like the dramatically different gel moisturizer texture.
