My Rosacea says: Yes!
@Clinique please please consider offering this 1.0 in the jumbo pump size!! I love using my Clinique products. Like luuurve. My 42 yr old face feels soft and clean after using the mild liquid facial soap and supple from the DDML+. I've incorporated the Smart day SPF and Smart night creams in dry combination too and really I can't name a favourite. I love them all. What my type 2 skin doesn't like is the purple level 2 Clarifying Lotion that is targeted for my skin type. It took me a minute to figure out that this was the culprit flaring my rosacea and leaving me red all day long. Ok more than a minute. A month. But then a friendly online Clinique consultant guided me toward this 1.0 Clarifying Lotion and I've never looked back. It's perfect for my very sensitive, dry-combination Rosacea skin.

Simple but effective
Been using this exfoliator every morning and I've really been enjoying it. It's alcohol free (unlike the other ones) and it's not too irritating. My skin is combo and it doesn't make my dry areas more dry. Really helps to prep the skin for serums and moisturizers. I also find it helps with reducing the amount of sebaceous filaments on my nose

Cleanest softest skin ever!
I've been using this for over 13 years now. I started out using # 2..but then I tried this one and loved it's gentleness. My skin loves it too. I credit this to looking 10 years younger than I actually am. I became a Clinique advisor way back and why I tried this product. I use all of the three steps plus aging creams as well.. My 3 daughters use it too. ( My son in law loves the mens line ) Take care of your skin and it will take care of you! Always my motto.

Best Toner for ALL Skin Types!
If there is one product I will always return to, it's this one! I know that the 1.0 is recommended for sensitivity, but I believe it's suitable, and would recommend it to everyone. I'm very against alcohol being added to toners, and love that this formulation has none! It's very refreshing, gentle, and gets the job done just as well or better than the rest! It does not dry out my skin at all and has never caused a flare with my rosacea. Plus, you can literally see the dirt that comes off and I feel so clean after!

Bring back the original Mild Clarifying Lotion!
Why oh why would you discontinue your Mild Clarifying Lotion? It was the only clarifying lotion that was actually suitable for sensitive skin! All of the other clarifying lotions list alcohol as one of their top ingredients! Clinique should know better. For years, I faithfully used your mild clarifying lotion, recommending it to all my friends (who also loved it)! Then you go and discontinue your only clarifying lotion for sensitive skin and replace it with this. A tip would be to at least test out the new product before you go and discontinue a product many customers love! You also don't warn us whenever you go and discontinue something, which has loyal Clinique customers like me shopping elsewhere more and more. Why don't I like this version of the Clarifying Lotion? First off, my skin cannot tolerate it because of the witch hazel you decided to add. I understand that some people might like this, but don't add it to the one toner that's supposed to be targeted for people with sensitive skin! Second, this does absolutely nothing in terms of exfoliation since it doesn't have enough salicyclic acid needed for exfoliation. The end result? My face is now redder and drier thanks to using this product. FYI: This is my first negative review of a Clinique product, and I've been using Clinique since I was a teenager. Clinique, you need to stop discontinuing products so quickly! You should at least warn us first so that we can stock up on our favourite products. If you think this doesn't affect your loyal customers, you're wrong. I was so mad that I didn't buy any Clinique products for at least a year!

Still a disappointment...
Unfortunately this is STILL a disappointing substitute for the mild clarifying lotion...the smell, the harshness...not a replacement.

Ok but clarifying lotion 1 is better.
This clarifier is ok but I much prefer the clarifying lotion 1. Both are good for dry, sensitive skin but the 1.0 leaves a 'film' or residue on skin whereas the 1 just leaves skin just feeling clean and fresh.
