Disappointed in the gel
I use the cream version of this moisturizer, which I love, but in the summer even in lesser amounts it's too heavy so I bought the gel online as suggested by a Clinique rep at the Bay who thought it might be a good alternative for summer. Unfortunately this gel really doesn't moisturize my dry+ oily combination skin at all and leaves it feeling tight and dry. I would only recommend this gel for people with completely oily skin who can't tolerate any sort of moistuirzer. I'm sure in those cases it would be wonderful.

Love this for daily wear
I love this for daily wear and I feel it makes up for how dehydrated my skin is. Initially, I was confused if I should purchase the gel or the lotion, they have two different versions of this product for different skin types. I did a quick online consultation with Clinique staff through the live chat option and they told me that this gel option is ideal for my skin. They were right. I am so happy with this product and also grateful for the timely consultation, as I did not feel comfortable visiting a beauty store during the pandemic.

Big Improvement
I bought this for my teenage son about a year ago after he had gone for a facial and was told by the esthetician that his skin was very dehydrated from using strong products to control his oily skin. I bought him the complete 3-step program from Clinique as I had been using Clinique for years and was very happy with it. His skin looks wonderful now and he rarely breakouts anymore. Thanks Clinique for making fragrance-free products for sensitive skin!

A Must Have in your Skin Care Routine
I struggled with finding the right moisturizer for my face. I have oily skin. When I tried moisturizers from other brands, that are meant for oily skin, it ended up just drying my face which caused my skin to produce more oil. I love the Clinique oil-free gel because it's 'oil-free,' yet hydrating so that my face wont dry out and create more oil after. It has helped me a lot with my acne issues too. This is my absolute favorite product for Clinique and would highly recommend to other people who have similar oily-skin/acne concerns.

Clogs pores
Even with the 3 steps and using the exfoliating gel wash ( which I LOVE) ... it clogs my pores bad. I use it for my lips and eye area only . Oil free... but thick and does cause my pores on especially nose, chin, forehead.. you can squeeze out yellowish stuff. Why is it dyed yellow anyway? Should be dye free. The Moisture Surge Watery lotion is amazing!! Best for oily combo skin with large pores . This yellow cream is hood only as a make up base but not worth the black heads and clogged pores.

Perfect mosturizer
This is the perfect mosturizer to mix with whatever serum or booster you feel to add to your skin whenever you wish. Gives you the chance to mix and vary depending on the time (night or day) or situation your skin is dealing with (dryness, humidity). It's just a must-have to keep always in your shelf either to mix your actives or to keep it simple and hydrate your skin without having to worry about irritation or side effects.

Non greasy
This might be good for non-dry skin. I have a combination-oily skin more of a natural yet I still need moisturizer and it works fine for me. My daughter has a very dry face and she thought this could work for her but it actually it didn't work fine on her face, it made it dull so she stopped using it. Doesn't make the face greasy I wish if it's a better smell
