Not a bad cleanser
I have been using this product for about 10 months. I have the dry combination 200ml version. It lathers well, rinses well and does not leave my face feeling dry. I also like the pump. Unfortunately, I see the new packaging only has the pump in the 400ml version. More importantly, while this product does not contain SLS, it does contain SLES and sodium sulfate. I prefer products that are sulfate free. Because of this and, less importantly, the pump situation, I cannot be loyal to this product. I will continue to search for my ideal cleanser. However, if these things are not important to you, this is a very good cleanser.

Favourite cleanser ... but bring back the pump please!
I love this face wash and keep coming back to it. It's gentle enough for twice daily use on my sensitive, type II rosacea skin. Doesn't dry me out, cleans effectively. No eye stinging, will even take off light powder makeup. But anything more than that, remove first with a proper makeup remover, this isn't is. @Clinique: my only gripe is the recent change in packaging. I find the plastic flip top gets goopy and messy under the cap and well, the bottle is far less pretty on my countertop LOL. PLEASE consider bringing back the vintage bottle styling, the pump is just so much better.

I'm a convert!
I used Clinique exclusively from the time I was 25 until I was in my early 50's. I thought when I hit that age I should up my game with a more expensive line. Honestly, I didn't notice a difference but kept using the more expensive line. I'm now almost 68 and have returned to Clinique and the 3 step system. I'm so glad I did! Years ago, I used the cleansing bar. I've just started using the liquid soap cleanser and I love it! It leaves me feeling clean but not stripped of moisture. Clinique, please keep making these wonderful products! Ladies, straying from what works and works well just doesn't make any sense! I wish now I hadn't left, but I'm back now and won't make that mistake again!

worst breakout I've ever experienced
caused breakouts almost immediately! I used this product for 6 weeks before I stopped. Once I stopped my breakouts got worse. They became huge, puss filled cysts that were very painful and made me feel so awful for months, not to mention that the acne left me with hyperpigmentation marks. I wish I could post a picture to show you. I started prescription Retin-A 3 months ago to help clear up these breakouts caused by Clinique Acne solutions. Now the acne has finally cleared up and my pigmentation marks are starting to subside. Buying this product is my biggest mistake and regret. It caused so much distress.

Packaging is horrible
I have been using Clinique for more than 40 years and love many products including this one. BUT why did you change the packing, this is horrible!! Bring back the pump and refil bottles to save on packaging.

Great for dry combination skin
The liquid soap works really well in the three-step skin care line with toner and moisturizer. I rotate between the mild and extra mild liquid depending on the time of year. During the winter the extra mild works well for me but in the summer I like to use the mild liquid soap. I have been using this product for over 20 years and it has always been great on my skin

Great for mild wash
Very good product for a simple mild face wash. It doesn't make the face feel tight. I use the Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser for more deep face wash (makeup...)

Bring back the old packaging
I love this product and have been using it for 25+ year but I miss the old packaging. The pump works so much better than the new flip lid, which has to be kept upside down to work and ends up with a gucky lid. Please go back!!
