Works great but smells awful
I am using this as part of the 3-step program and am enjoying it so far. It works great in combination with the cleanser and moisturizer! I usually wake up with terrible flaky dry skin, and then half way through the day am so shiny and oily but with the 3 products I have done multiple workout days without getting oily, and wake up to clear, hydrated skin! My number one complaint however, is that this stuff smells terrible! It smells so strongly of alcohol it makes me cough and gag. I'm afraid if anyone comes near me too soon after applying it they'll think I'm a drunk! I therefore do not recommend this product to anyone that the smell of alcohol is triggering to. I used to use the Thayer's toner which comes in a variety of pleasant smells, and even their unscented toner is about a thousand times better than the scent of this stuff.

A must have in my rotation...
I keep coming back to this stuff. I've been using it since high school two decades ago, and although it's not a consistent presence in my cabinet, I always seem to come back to it in desperation for some light exfoliation and clarification. I definitely recommend if you're struggling with imperfections and flakey skin. I brought a sample size on a cruise with me recently, and am so thankful I did. Definitely saved my skin from the wear and tear of long-wear make-up, lack of sleep, and indulgent food and beverages.

Best forever
No matter what happens I always clarifying every other day . It's may favourite. Even though it claim to be twice a day , I only to once every other day. There is a trick I alway keep clarifying lotion 1 handy. For winter till spring I use both. The C L 1 is smooth the skin glowing. C L 3 mattifyies but also growing . U must your skin first don't get fool by sales people n don't do strictly what they says or claim. Less is better. Imagine to much chemical will harms your skin too. I m using for past 40 years. I'm pioneer but still not tales . Trust your own instinct. LSS.. it's not toner or astragent it's a Clarifying liquid with alcohol so be aware to little as follows. Gd luck. Happy face.

Cleanse and glow
Use this product after face wash and I feel so refresh and extra clean and ready for the next step! It does help for more observing the serums and boost my skin. Highly recommend.

Game Changer!
I have been using this product for almost a year now. I'm wondering what took me so long. This is an absolute game changer in my skin care. I am 56 and have struggled my entire life with large pores and products that claim to remove the oil etc. This is the product that has changed it all for me. I can hardly believe the difference in my skin over almost 12 months! Clogged pores are now a part of my past....oh, the skin texture while using is incredible! Use with the foaming cleanser and the moisturizer for the best skin of your life!

Makes my skin dry
Tried this exfoliator for a couple of weeks and had to discontinue usage because it was rendering my skin extremely dry, in turn causing skin discomfort and breakouts (ironically). Will try a different exfoliator from Clinique instead - likely just a skin type mismatch.

Makes me feel refreshed
At first, I put off buying this product for a while because I thought it would not benefit my skin. However, I am happy to say that this product HAS benefited my skin for the better. This product is easily to use, convenient because of how little time it takes to sweep across my face, and one bottle has lasted very long for me. I do not have to apply much onto a cotton pad for my face to feel refreshed. I find that my skin has become smoother because of this product in combination of the other 2 steps, cleanser and moisturizer gel.

Please remove color dyes in this product.
The toner solution is a pink hued. I was going thru the ingredients and noticed that there are dyes in this toner and think that they are not necessary.
