Great for acneic skin
Got this clarifier for my teen son who has acne. It works to help keep his skin clear and oil-free without being too harsh. The witch hazel in the product is soothing for sensitive skin and doesn't have a strong chemical smell.

My skin is mixed type so I was in between using 3 and 4, after trying both I think 4 stronger and with a moisturizer combination, I benefitted more from using 4 for mixed oily skin.

Pretty ok
This lotion is okay. It feels good going on, it's smooth and it's doesn't burn or cause any ill effects. Unfortunately, I must have really oily skin because it doesn't do much to prevent shine or oil control. I'm using lotion 4, but it hasn't helped much.

Strong yet gentle enough not to hurt your skin
I have extremely oily skin, this exfoliator is very effective to clear all the dirt and excess oil I wish there was more special packaging offers including this number4 exfoliators... Most packages come with number3 at the web site. Clinique: please add more offering with this one

Actually Cleared My Acne
I have horrible acne-prone oily skin and I used this as part of a three-step system that actually ended up helping my acne out. I purchased this as part of a 3-step set of minis but when I used the whole routine it actually helped my acne a lot. Though I was expecting a sensation when I put it on, I didn't experience any sensitivities or reactions to the product.
