What It Does:

Good all year moisturizer
I first used this from a sample my sister gave me 10 years ago. I always got her samples and make up bags from Clinique days from The Bay. But until recently I ordered this for myself. It's a great all around moisturizer. Works great in all seasons, non greasy, doesn't cause sebum plugs or any allergic reaction to my skin. You only need a small amount, about less than a dime size for face and neck. It helps my loose powder glide on my face too.

Fantastic moisturizer
I have a dry skin and have to use moisturizer and hydrating products for several times per day, and I used to have a heavy feeling skin after rubbing any creams or lotions. After finding this lotion, my life changed literally! It was like a game changer for me and I cannot even believe that how I used to live with this amazing lotion! Highly recommended for who has dry skin!

Timeless Classic Lotion
I love this lotion and have been using it since the 70's. I have nothing negative to say about it but what I do wish is that Clinique would offer a 30ml size which can be purchased by itself. I use the 50ml size during the day and I have a smaller 30ml size at my bedside for nighttime which came along with a set of other products.

Not great for me!
Doesn't absorb well and instantly causes my face to feel irritated, red, itchy and break out. I used my smart points to try this and disappointed.

Yellow Lotion of Perfection
My mother in law introduced me to Clinique back in 2023 when I keep struggling with my skincare. Everything I bought would either break me out, or not give me the hydration my skin was looking for. I started the 3 step process, and it has been a true gamechanger. Less is MORE! This yellow lotion has calmed my skin down, and given me the hydration I needed, plus- it is perfect under my sunscreen and/or foundation - no pilling! Which was a major struggle for me. This yellow liquid gold will be forever in my skincare routine.

Excellent everyday moisturizer
Been using this product for more than 20 years! Excellent after shower moisturizer. I follow up with Superdefense SPF 25. Constantly receiving compliments on my 40 year old skin that looks much better than my same-aged peers. I credit good genes and my daily use of Clinique products. I never understood the hype about this...until I tried it. I followed this after step 1 and 2 of the E step system and my skin has never looked so good. My skin instantly felt and looked younger (I am 43). I will definitely be using this three step system from now on!

The Best Moisturizer ever
I have been using Clinique products for about 30 years, especially this moisturizer. I've tried inexpensive brands & since I have sensitive skin, I found they did not work for me, they either did not moisturize enough or were too greasy & made me break out. This moisturizer is the perfect balance.

Simple and it works
I didn't think that at 46 I'd be using this as a moisturizer on my acne prone skin. But you know what? It works. It's hydrating. It's free of crappy ingredients and it works. I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin. I love how it's fragrance free. Simple as that.

I have used this product since i was teenager ! and when i started dating my boyfriend he had insanely dry skin and i got him using this now we take turns buying it and sharing it ! My only quo would be once we had to start wearing masks I found it to be a little thick to put on in the morning before wearing a mask all day. So I got the Gel version of this product for regular use and use this when I am home for the day :)

Feels great!
I have used this product for years! My mom always used to give me the sample sizes of it when she shopped at Clinique. I love using it in the morning and at night because it is hydrating without being greasing or pore-clogging. I find it I have no trouble wearing under my Clinique foundation or other make-up. I never travel without it. I'll probably continue to always have a container of this moisturizer in my bathroom for the rest of my life.

Allergic reaction
I had severe contact dermatitis (widespread face rash) all over my face from this product, required both topical and oral medications to clear it. Avoid if you have sensitivity to lanolin - which many people with eczema prone skin do. May be good for most folks but caution with extra sensitive skin and atopic dermatitis.

Having been a 3 Step user for 30+ years, I stuck with this new formula, but dislike it. Please give us the option of the original because you are losing customers. The DDMG is OK for summer but not enough for winter where I live, but DDML+ does not absorb. A great barrier as I'm sure it would still be there as a sticky layer after a long weekend camping trip if I didn't wash my face. Comes off on my collars and anything else it touches. Even the DDM cream absorbs better.

Not worth money....
I was so excited to use this product but once i started using it i started getting breakouts all over my face: cheeks, chin, forehead and nose. I tried revisiting all I used on my face but only thing I had changed was moisturizer and it did not work well! I have stopped using it since few days and the breakouts seem to be settling slowly. Since i have used half of it not sure if return is possible or i will be just throwing it away. So please be careful before putting your money in this.

Nice Moisturizer but...
I received this moisturizer as part of a set. A few uses made my dry/combination skin feel so healthy and glowy- and then I noticed this formula contains sesame oil, to which my partner is severely allergic (including via skin contact). My fault for not checking all the products' ingredients more closely, but I was surprised to find this common allergen in a Clinique product.

I've tried multiple skin care lines, lower end ones and high end ones. I ALWAYS return to the Clinique line! My skin is very prone to breakouts and I find this to be one of the only moisturizers I can use that won't cause a breakout while offering the moisture my skin needs. I'm 43....been using this face cream for probably 20 years along with many other Clinique products and nothing else has ever worked for me. My skin always breaks out with other products. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. This lotion keeps my skin looking youthful and breakout free. I love it in combo with the 72 and 100 hour hydration. Beautiful products but this is my absolute must have.
