• If you experience increased discomfort when using Clinique Smart Night Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Repair Treatment Retinol, revert to once every other night until skin adjusts. This adjustment can take up to 4 weeks.

Ultimate Soft Skin
I've been using this product for about a month and followed the directions strictly. I have somewhat sensitive skin. My skin is visibly soft and supple. I've tried numerous products by Clinique and while some have made my skin softer and smoother this product is superior. I am starting to have some skin peeling on the forehead but no redness or irritation. I'm thinking this is a normal process? While I haven't seen any significant results on my facial lines and wrinkles I'm expecting that those issues are not an overnight fix. Willing to persevere as something must be working to make my skin so soft!

This is what a Retinol is SUPPOSED to do
This is the most effective non-prescription retinol product I have tried. People don't understand, there is supposed to be irritation to make a retinol effective. That being said, I just back off for a day or 2, then start again. You need to stay out of the sun. You need to moisturize and use a sunscreen during the day. I love this, it literally peels off the years. I hope Clinique does not change the formula or back off on the strength of this truly amazing product.

This is probably one of the best retinol treatments I've tried, and I've tried a few over the years. It's pricey, but worth it, especially when on sale. I just wait for one and STOCK up. I know it works, because when I started using it, my skin sensitized, although it was gentle enough to avoid any retinol burns or aggressive purging, which is a major plus. I also love how it clears up my skin when I'm having any sort of hormonal breakouts. I seriously recommend trying this product if your in the market for a non-prescription retinol that is effective, yet gentle.

I was so excited and it was my first time using any retinol product. I was working from home so no sun at all. Used every other day for the first week, then the burning and peeling started (really bad burning, and peeling) but I thought, maybe I have to use it once every 2 days, still terrible! Waited more than a week for my skin to return to "normal" and tried using once a week, omg, it burned my skin all over again. I'm sure this is a great product for some types of skin but definitely not made for all. Now I'm afraid to try to use it again as last time just using it one night made my skin burn and peel so much. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen but it doesn't feel that it is. Very disappointed as I'm such a big fan of Clinique's products and have been using them for so long.

Texture is worse overall after 2 months
I originally started using this for fine lines on my forehead. I've been using this twice a week (couldn't tolerate three) for 2 months. My skin is noticeably more irritated whenever I use it. But my biggest gripe is my forehead looks more textured and saggier. I use Clinique City Block SPF 50 everyday, a Torriden moisturizer, and Clinique All About Clean cleanser which is super gentle. I know you're supposed to stick it out with retinol but I'm afraid to keep using it.

Very satisfied with this product
I decided to purchase this product because i was looking for something with retinol. I have been using many Clinique's products over years and always happy with the quality so when i was seeking for retinol product i chose Clinique and yes i made the right decision. My skin was pretty dry and sensitive while using. I didnt panic because i understand it would be a obvious for all retinol product. You just need to provide your skin with HA and moistures to keep it balanced and protect it well with sun block in day time. My skin reveals very bright, firm and so smooth after 2 weeks. I was taking pictures through the phases during using the product (combined with some other products too) to see the progress. Im happy to send you all the pictures if you need them for visible results. In general, i love all Clinique's product so far.

I initially loved this product!
I initially loved this product as it worked magic at fading a dark patch of skin on my neck. Unfortunately, after 6 weeks I developed a sensitivity, it didn't matter the length of time between usage, it caused an allergic skin reaction each time. Sorry to say, I had already purchased a second tube thinking it would become one of my favourite Clinique products. Hopefully I can get a refund. :(

It's really good for me
This product may seem expensive, but you only need to use a pea-size amount. It will last a long time and is a good value. Add to that the fact that it works great. it's now one of my favorite Clinique products.
