Use fingertips to massage balm over dry skin.

Perfect product!
This is the cleansing balm that made me finally ditch make-up wipes. It sounds cheesy but I actually look forward to using this every evening to take my makeup off. I feel like I'm giving myself a mini facial... it feels so good on the skin. It takes even stubborn waterproof mascara off effortlessly. It doesn't leave my face greasy just cleansed and glowing. I've recommended it to all my friends.

It pulls at my skin and doesn't smooth easily
I used an oil makeup remover before and really hoped this would be easier to use. I can't seem to get enough of it on my fingertips to smooth over my face unless I dig into it with my nails. It pulls at my skin and doesn't easily smooth on. I have to dip my fingers into it several times to clean the makeup off my face and I don't wear a lot of makeup. I think the oil one would be easier to use.

Easily Removes Stubborn Eye Makeup
This is my go-to product when I need to take off a heavy face of makeup. It easily removes stubborn dark eye makeup without pulling the skin or rubbing too harshly. I would prefer a different application process for it, as opposed to being a balm-like product, maybe a roller stick would be easier to use. The product works well and I have bought the mini version for holiday gifts and travel.

Confused how to use at first but love it on general.
I received this in 30 ml. as a bonus in my special kit. I wasnt sure how to use it at first so i didnt even bother trying. One time i put on waterproof mascara on and when i tried my regular makeup remover it didn't do anything. I rubbed this balm on my eyes and it rrally did start to melt. I then used a cotton disk to remove it and washed my face with my clensing gel and my make up was gone. I am not someone who wears heavy make up often but the nights i do - this is the remover i use. I don't think it is necessary for someome using light make up but if you like to doll up often this is your new best friend. I have been using it more often since it snows and i wear waterproof mascara everyday now and i dont see any difference in the jar. I think my 30 ml jar will last me for a very long time so the real thing is absolutely worth buying because it takes so very little of the product to get the result.

Best makeup remover!
I received this as a complementary item from a purchase and it turned out to be one of the best makeup remover I've ever come across. I put on a good amount of makeup for work purposes and it doesn't require a lot of this product to remove everything. I've had the full size for 2 years now and there's still a good amount left for everyday removal. Would repurchase for sure!

Say goodbye to raccoon eyes!
How often do you wash your face... only to have raccoon eyes from stubborn mascara and eyeliner? I found Clinique's Cleansing Balm to effortlessly and gently remove eye makeup, so I don't have to wipe and tug at the delicate skin around my eyes (which leads to wrinkles!). I love the texture of this product: it feels good and can be spread easily so a little goes a long way.

On me, it does not take the day off...
I don't even wear waterproof makeup. This product removes some of it. But, definitely not all. Maybe 50%. It's also very oily.

Silky smooth joy to use!
I received this as a complimentary birthday gift from Clinique and was surprised by how effective and easy it was to use! You only need a little bit, and it truly does morph into a smooth silky fluid onto the skin. I prefer this over the liquid version of the makeup remover, and this massive 125ml jar is going to last me absolutely forever!

Best makeup remover ever!
For a long time, I had a fear of makeup removers, because they're so oily and always make me breakout! However, Take The Day Off Cleaning Balm is my savior! It does not leave my skin oily and I haven't had a breakout yet. This works absolutely great, no need to scrub at all -- just apply to dry skin, rinse off and voila! Ready for bed.

Leaves my skin feeling silky not greasy
Received a sample of this and did not really expect to like it. I usually prefer foaming cleansers as I have combination skin. But right from the first use I fell in love with it. Takes makeup and mascara off so easily and leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. Will definitely purchase when the time comes that I need cleanser.

WOW!!
First time trying this cleansing balm but I have had my eye on it for awhile. I must say that for years I have used the best eye make up remover for waterproof makeup and also use a Cleansing water to take all my make up off. Well this balm takes ALL of it off and I mean every trace of makeup!! Even better than my 2 step cleansing I used to use! I am sold on this now for years to come! PLUS you don't even need much to get a full face of makeup off, I use a lot of make up and it was no problem! A little goes a long way!

Amazing! When I received it, I was skeptical that it would work as a cleanser as well as a makeup remover- it looks like a tub of grease. But wow, does it work! Takes eye makeup right off and makes my combination skin feel extremely clean down to the pores but not dry at all. A little goes a long way. Highly recommend.

I wear a lot of mineral based sunscreen and some eye makeup, over a long day (12 hours+). This product is so easy and fully removes all of it. I have just one concern with it. It causes bit of blurring and gooping in my eyes. Not as bad as the liquid Take the Day Off for Eyes, but still a little greasy on the eyes.

Just the best ever
I received this as my birthday present this year and I was a bit skeptical about it, but wow this is just the best, it is a balm so when you remove the makeup on your eye with it, it is so buttery soft, I just love it. It removes my makeup very well. I will definitly but more when the bottle is empty.

It went mouldy
I have had this product for about 8 months now. I don't use it regularly but maybe every week or so if I'm wearing full coverage foundation. I just opened it up to find a layer of mould growing along the edges. So gross. I looked online and apparently I'm not the only person this has happened to.

I have tried other makeup removers that were very greasy, they worked but hard to remove. This balm is fantastic. It removes the makeup and dissolves in water so does not leave a greasy film on your skin. I have tried the liquid version of this but this is the one I will continue to purchase.

Takes it all off!
It definitely did it's job, takes off all your makeup without a trace! I liked that it didn't dry me out like a lot of makeup wipes. I could see someone who is trying use less disposables in their routine liking this, but if you prefer a wipe it might not be for you.

Great base for makeup removal
This is a effective balm for makeup removal, i usually use it as a first step before applying my regular cleanser on top, and it does a great job of gently removing makeup (including eye makeup). There is also lots of product in this jar, so its very cost effective

This is the perfect size for travel, and for those who don't use makeup everyday. Like many Clinique products this is fragrance free and does not cause any irritation. I find this melts away all makeup even waterproof mascaras.
