My son like being able to get the teeth mom missed by chewing on it; however, the older he get (the more teeth) the more he dosen't like me brushing his teeth with it. It is not as soft as I thought it would be but I don't have to worry about it with him if he doesn't want to give it up (he can't swallow it). It goes in the sterilizer without issues and I just wash it with the dishes.
