Extremely lightweight. It is a little thin, best to use snack bags on top of a bento box as it will not fit an extra snack box, or use smaller containers/sandwich bag rather than a bento box. Both outer and inner materials feel sturdy. There is a band to hold water bottle in place on the inside. For the price, it is a great lunch bag.
