The older versions had better quality shimmer shades especially in the country woods and shimmering sands palette. These quads were such an easy to go item since a lot of brands don't make smaller palettes now but the shades aren't as pigmented or as shimmery as before. It would be great to have the formulas changed back and have palettes with darker shades as well for medium to deeper skintones.

I was apprehensive about smoke alarm because it was a bit on the blue side and didn't want to have such a retro look but when I put it on it was such a lovely smokey silver grey and did not look blue at all like I had originally thought. I was able to make a very work appropriate smokey eye with smoke alarm. Cafe au lait is an absolute delight. For a lovely neutral natural look. Very appropriate for every day. I got a lot of compliments on my look with cafe au lait.

The packages include a dark and several complementary and highlighting options, allowing an amateur the ability to create their own professional look!

I can blend and mix the colours however I want and it's surprisingly affordable! For a natural look, I recommend Golden Sunset.
