(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am big fan of the elf liquid eyeliner because it’s got the best applicator for me to create perfect wings everyone. But I think they changed the applicator coz the new one I got was thicker so I continue to use the old applicator until it broke. So I’ve been on the hunt for a new one and luckily I was fortunate enough to be part of the Covergirl exhibitionist voxbox and it came with their newest liquid eyeliner! Its applicator is exactly as the elf I’m used to and it’s super black and dries matte which I really like. Another plus point is that Covergirl is now cruelty-free!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love the dramatic colour payoff of this eyeliner, and it dries in literal seconds. It’s also extremely long lasting - I experienced no smudging or fading at all for a whole day AND the evening! The brush allows for very thin lines and very precise application. What I didn’t like about it is that I found it a little bit too runny, which, combined with the quick drying, can result in a mess (I’m not the most skilled with eyeliner :). Love the curvy black bottle - very elegant!

Honestly, you can achieve a level of precision using this brush for that perfect “cat eye” look. I received the shade Matte Black from Influenster and Covergirl complimentary for testing purposes and I absolutely love the shade! It’s completely matte, long lasting (I wore this liner all day and it lasted all day) and dries really quickly on the eye. I really like the fact that you can easily wipe this off with a makeup wipe at the end of the night and it comes off quite easily. It also removes easily using soap & water. Overall, I really enjoy this product and definitely recommend it!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ll start by saying I’m very difficult on this type of liner. I’ve been using Stila and KVD so I’m not one to skimp on quality for liners. This is a different applicator for sure and I’ve lost the twist with a short and bristley applicator, but the formula is so liquid and drying at the same time, and the matteness is effective, but it can be easily swiped and smudged. Blackness and ease of having the product get in super close to the lashes and top liner though would be a good touch up product for when I’ve done a preliminary wing, but not as a stand alone product. I’ve received this free to test but I’m not sure I’d buy this for myself if it weren’t for Influenster.

This eyeliner is fine. There are two things I don't particularly like and that is that this eyeliner is not water proof, and it kind of feels crunchy or crusty or just heavy as if you had false lashes on after it dries down. The feeling goes away after a bit but it is a little distracting. Other than that I like the look of it. With the fine tip I can get back into a sharp wing. I will continue using this until I run out or find one just like this but waterproof. If nothing else I do enjoy this eyeliner enough that's buying it again is a possibility.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Gel liners are my absolute factorize for the top lash line, so naturally I was excited to try this new product. I was very impressed with the fine tip. It allowed crisp precise line work, and it enabled me to start with a thin line and thicken as desired. The only drawback was the intensity. I wish it was just a tad bit darker so that it really popped! If you are someone who likes a more natural than intense look this would be perfect for you though. I just like me drama!

I remember my cheap drugstore 90's liquid liner that was a massive pain, with a brush that would never work. I'm so glad I tried it. I'm a bit of a high end liner snob. Nothing is usually dark enough for me, or has the right control. I have easily over $100 in liquid liner in my makeup drawer, and I've reached for it many times. The only thing I find, is that it takes longer to dry. You just need to be careful to only open your eye about half way until it dries. Honestly, for the price point, if that is the only negative it's a steal! I put this up to kvd trooper ink liner, and this is much blacker, easier to use and blows it out of the water actually.

I really wanted to give this eyeliner a 3.5 because I'm very picky with my eyeliner and while it wasn't perfect, it definitely is a step above a lot of other drug store offerings right now. I've always preferred pot based liners or felt tipped pens, so I was very excited to try this new lover. On the positive side, the colour payoff and intensity was there, it didn't need multiple layers, the formula went on smooth, but the brush lacked precision and the formula wasn't waterproof enough for me. My eyes tend to water in winter and I found that it would cause slight dripping in my outer corners. It didn't happen all the time, but enough that I purposely would avoid it on certain days. So a good product but not great.
