Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Others are saying they noticed a scent they didn't like, but that wasn't my experience. Personally, I think that what's happening there is that they're expecting a scent that is all berry scent, no other scent, and so when they can smell the slight beeswax scent under the berry scent, they're not crazy about it. I didn't have any issues with the scent, though; didn't even think about it till I read the other reivews. It's lovely - natural ingredient, and a very slight tint. I actually normally make my own lip balm, but don't tint it, so buy this so that I can have a nice tint if I want. It's perfect for that. Just a slight tint, totally natural looking, which is perfect for me, as I don't wear makeup, except a bit of face powder or a tinted lip balm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the taste/smell I wanted I really don't know what I would call the taste/small but it is not wild berries. It does moisturize, so I use it. But in general, the smell is off putting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surprisingly bad... I've tried other types of lip balm from this company and generally love their products so I thought I would try this one. It smells vaguely like berries and a lot like... something else... something bad... perhaps mildly rancid.
