Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible texture I have been wanting to try this sunscreen for a while and decided to buy when it went on sale. I remove one star because it's over-priced, too expensive for spf 30 in such a small tube. I remove another star for the texture, I have tried applying it with and without previously applying a lotion or serum and it always breaks down into thick white clumps that are extremely hard to spread on the skin. I remove another star because once you succeed to spread it on your face it leaves an extremely sticky and shiny finish! I like that it's fragrance free, doesn't leave a serious white cast and it's a Canadian brand... but that's it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major Disappointment! When a Company's website says they make "the best sunscreen in the world" they better bring their a-game! I was so excited to try this product but within 2 weeks of opening the tube the sunscreen is has separated into thick, white fatty lumps in a clear more liquid base. Rubbing it together in your palms breaks down the clumps somewhat, but the resulting product is so sticky that blending it out is impossible without using a significant amount of pressure that I'm sure is not suitable for delicate facial skin! Even then, it's so sticky there's no way your getting even coverage! A horrible, horrible product. I've tossed it and my $ in the garbage!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent, but when it's good it's good I was on the hunt for an acne-friendly, natural, mineral sunscreen for a very long time. This is NOT perfect, but I am so happy with the ingredients and the fact that it doesn't break me out that I can happily deal! The only thing is that I find the formula varies. Sometimes it's a perfect bottle that blends smoothly and easily. Sometimes the formula is clumpy and takes a bit more work to blend out. It all depends on your priorities. If all you're looking for is an undetectable sunscreen, this is not for you. But if you have sensitive, acne-prone skin, care about the ingredients you're putting on your face, and are unwilling to use a chemical sunscreen, this is one of the best mineral ones I have found :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good natural daily SPF for pregnant/breastfeeding women I came across this brand when looking for a daily SPF that was safe while pregnant and breastfeeding (ie. made without many contraindicated carbon-based compounds). I greatly prefer this formulation and packaging to the previous iteration of this product (when it was a pump bottle and SPF 25). It now goes on much more smoothly and the finish is much 'cleaner' with no white cast or excess greasiness, compared to the previous version. In both cases, I blended with a little bit of The Ordinary's Plant-derived Squalane or Vit C serum to help with consistency when applying, which some might find too tacky/sticky.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Settles quickly, doesn’t effect makeup I really like this product, and I have tested so many SPFs to wear under my makeup. I prefer 100% zinc, as it doesn’t break down as quickly as mineral blends or chemical sunscreens. I saw absolutely no white cast (though I am light-fair). It does dry FAST, so make sure you work quickly. With moisturizer and serum beneath, I didn’t experience any issues with the product dragging On my skin. I would buy this again - though I did take off one star for price versus size!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sticky and Difficult to Spread The bad: This spf has a very thick, whipped texture, similar to refrigirated whipped butter. It is very difficult to apply and spread across the face, resulting in me pulling at my skin a great deal. It also leaves a very sticky feeling on my dry and dehydrated skin that doesn't go away. The Good: Once this spf is (finally!) rubbed in, it leaves no white cast at all on my fair skin. Perhaps this will work better once it's -30 degrees outside and my skin is windburned, but there are better, less expensive mineral sunscreens out there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticky and oily I am allergic to chemical sunscreen and have oily/acne prone skin. This was recommended by the rep at The Sunscreen Company. Based on the price point and description, I was hoping my search for a good sunscreen will come to an end. I was very disappointed with the results. After application, my skin felt sticky and looked very shinny as if I slathered my face with oil. Not recommended for oily skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great I have been looking for a new clean sunscreen. This is a bit hard to rub in the slight white case disappears. I have oil skin doesnt make me break out. I personally wont buy again due to too much friction on my face.
