Description
This new generation of retinoic ester is an adapted molecule from retinoic acid commonly available through prescription for anti-aging benefits and the treatment of acne. This novel formulation allows for the maximum allowable concentration of 1% in North America of a retinoic ester. By rendering the retinoic ester into very small molecules that are evenly dispersed throughout the formula, most users have been able to use Retin+Erase daily with no to minimal irritation and dryness. Finally a high concentration of the Granactive retinoid that I've been looking for. I'd tried The Ordinary 5% Granactive Retinoid but when I found this one on-line and read a little further. This has double the concentration of the active so in equivalent terms would be 10% Granactive. Having used the other retinoid ester products, the yellow colour is actually a good sign. It's how it should be. As for the smell, it's medical but not unpleasant. I just use a little anyways so I don't smell it at all during typical use. I feel like my skinn looks refreshed and no irritation so can use every day.

I'm giving this a 2 only because Well was very quick to refund the cost back to me. When I first tried it there was an awful, musty, disgusting smell. could not wash my face fast enough! I then pumped a small amount onto the cap and it was very yellow! This is another obvious indication that it gone bad. I won't be trying this again!

This product is a good 'retinol' product. Definitely potent (as it caused quite a bit of initial flaking). I have used retinol products before and my skin was less breakout prone with others compared to this one(however about double the price). Overall, this is still a decent option and the price is fair.
