How to Use: Topical (Adults): Essential oils should be used only after being diluted in a carrier oil.

Native to Southern Asia, turmeric is especially prevalent in India, where it is prized for its many properties (as a spice, food preservative, colouring agent, cosmetic and medicinal herb). Part of the ginger family, it was mostly used as a dye for its golden yellow colour.
From a cosmetic perspective, its antioxidant properties improve the complexion. Its pleasant odour adds a powdery touch to homemade beauty products.

I bought this product because I have some bruises and other skin irritations. I added a few drops to my body cream and mixed well. It helps to sooth my skin. The essential oil does have a strong scent but you can't feel it when its mixed well with the body lotion. Another benefit is that its anti-aging, but that will take time to see. I will defiantly buy again.
