Nauseating new smell
I'm extremely disappointed in Dove as they decided to change a great product with no warning whatsoever! This shampoo previously had a mild, clean fragrance that did its job perfectly. The new formula left an overwhelming, unpleasant floral smell in my hair that ended up nauseating me after a short period of time. There was no label on the bottle that indicated the scent had been changed! Why would you do this when many places are going scent neutral and people have sensitivities to strong smelling products? My money has been wasted on shampoo I can't use and I now need to head out and find a replacement. I used to trust Dove products, but will think twice now!

Going to cause a divorce
We've been using this shampoo for the past 7 years of our marriage. It used to have a very mellow non offensive smell. I loved how the smell merged with my wife's scent.
However, right in the middle of a pandemic Dove decides to change the scent. Not only does it smell like old perfume, now my wife is walking around smelling like this odour. I'm sure I don't smell much better either.
This is absolutely disgusting and whoever tested this product should be fired. Please do the cocacola thing and bring back Dove Daily Moisturizer Shampoo Classic

Moisturizing and shiny
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The shampoo smelled pleasant but not overwhelming, it had a slight fruit or sweet scent, but this was not noticeable. It lathered well and rinsed out easily without leaving residue. I also needed less than I do with other shampoos to get the same effect. when combined with the conditioner, it left my hair noticeably shinier, and reduced frizz both when blow drying and air drying. My hair felt light and silky. It also reduced my dry skin on my scalp, which I tend to get in the winter. The only thing I would say is that I am usually able to wash my hair every other day, but with this shampoo, my second day hair was looking pretty weighed down.

Disappointing
I've been using this shampoo for a little over half a year and it's unfortunately been disappointing. When I first started, it was almost impossible to run my hand through my hair when applying and rinsing, and I had to be a little cautious when combing while it was still somewhat wet. Thankfully those problems eventually went away, but I've never been that satisfied with the shampoo. My hair doesn't feel like it's truly clean, it's been quite flat, and at times greasy. I've also noticed some dandruff developing, which I find odd considering this is a daily moisture shampoo.

NEW SCENT AND FORMULA IS TERRIBLE
I used to love this shampoo and have been loyal to it since I was 14. I don't understand why companies take a beautiful perfect formula and change it when everyone loved it? I bought this shampoo and conditioner as I always do and noticed it's a new formula with a TERRIBLE scent. The formula also made my hair very dry!! Bring back the old dove formulas and scents!!!

New scent is AWFUL & overwhelmingly DISGUSTING
I’ve used this shampoo since I don’t even remember when. The new scent is horrible and extremely overwhelming. The smell is too strong and I can smell it all day long. It’s disgusting. I’m not the only customer who has mentioned that the new scent is terrible. Please listen to your customers and revert back to the original smell.

New scent is overwhelming
I have purchased this shampoo and conditioner for years and the most recent use I discovered the new scent and it was so strong and perfumy. It gave me a terrible headache and hated the way my hair smelled. My hair also didn't feel as soft and silky as normal. I will unfortunately have to buy a new brand. Terribly disappointed.

New scent is terrible
I used this shampoo for a year and Ioved it, however the new scent is nauseating and terribly strong. I will continue to buy my shampoo and conditioner from dove but I will need to change from dove daily moisture to something else because I cannot stand the smell.
