This Dove dry shampoo refreshes your hair using ingredients that absorb excess oil and then brush easily out of your hair, leaving it looking and feeling clean and soft.

Directions: To use, first separate your dry hair into sections. Shake the dry shampoo spray can vigorously; hold it about 20 to 30cm from the head and spray directly into the roots of your hair in short bursts. Leave in for a couple of minutes, then turn your head upside down and brush out all of the powder before turning your head upright again and styling as usual.
Dove does not test on animals. All Dove products are certified Cruelty-Free by PETA.

So I received a 32g sample to try and after purposely not washing my hair for 2 days, I tried it to see if it works and I'm glad to say it actually does feel pretty good. My hair was feeling frizzy prior to that (perhaps from using Tresemme) but applying this, the hair is still frizzy but it does feel softer. The smell is nice, a bit "chemically(?)" but better than the "if-you-didn't-wash-your-hair-for-2-days-and-applied-nothing" smell (lol - looking at your busy mums who need to go to the grocery store like me). So I'd probably get it again as a quick fix.

My hair dresser has been trying to get me to use dry shampoo for some time now but I am always hesitant on using it because it feel it may still leave my hair flat and greasy. But the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo did not! I was really impressed on this product and how it acted. It smelt really good, didn't leave any residue or the "white" powder that some dry shampoos have before. I loved that it was a volume dry shampoo so my hair never went flat. Would definitely purchase this in the future.

Dove's Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo is a great addition for anyone who wants to stretch the time between washings or to freshen up your hair at any time. I have long hair that is very healthy and has a tendency to be oily. I use this product on my roots at the end of the day and it works well and smells great! After using this product my hair has some volume and doesn't look stuck to my head, limp or oily. It is very easy to use and convenient. I loved the results I had when I used it for a wedding!

This one however, was surprisingly AMMAZING! I love it! It works well with my naturally fine hair that gets oily the next day, but this Dove dry shampoo brought my hair right back to life the next day. And besides for it working so well, the smell is just...yum! It has a great fresh scent that I couldn't stop putting it near my nose so that I could just keep smelling it lol! Two thumbs up for this product! I highly recommend it and I will definitely be repurchasing before I run out! Thank you chick advisor for the opportunity to be able to test this one out!

The moment I received this I was excited - 1 because I love dry shampoos, and I'm always trying to find "the" perfect one, and 2 because it was close to bedtime and I was tired, and this gave me a great reason to skip my shower. #dirtyhairdontcare <br />
I have medium darker hair, and so trying new dry shampoos is always a gamble. And this one paid off (thankfully, it was a workday morning lol). There really was no residue! And it did help with the volume (read: fine flat hair that rivals a penny on a train track). <br />
But I couldn't go more than 2 days not washing - it just didn't agree with very dirty hair. <br />

I have to say that I absolutely love this dry shampoo it's by far my favourite. My hair feels soft and fresh days after I washed it and for me I love the fact that it's volumizing! Great price, great product. Leaves some white residue on my dark brown hair but it's normal for dry shampoos. I usually will spray it at night and then in the morning my hair looks fab!

I love dry shampoos. I am a lazy person. I do not like to spend a lot of time on hair or makeup so it was great for me to get this. I really enjoy dry shampoos and I think that this is one of the best ones I have ever tried.<br />

It smells fresh but it is not overbearing.<br />
It goes on clean and it does not leave a lot of white residue.<br />
It made my hair fresher and surely took away a lot of my grease. I would say that it added a bit more volume and that it made the hair cleaner for sure.<br />

I think I would buy this in place of my regular dry shampoo on my next bottle.<br />

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've tried a handful of different types of dry shampoo and I have to say this is one of the few that I like. Its a good full size bottle to use that can last a good period of time. Not that it's something I would use daily, only on days where my hair needs a bit of a boost and my hair gets a bit more oily than usual such as second or third day hair. It does what it says it does and it's something I would recommend you to try out. Make sure you let it sit in your hair for a bit before moving it around.

However, the claim that it leaves your hair 'full of body and volume' is quite skeptical. A bit more body did happen but i had no volume, and even less volume to be honest. Would I use it again, absolutely. I like being able to sleep a few minutes longer by not having to wash my hair every day. The light scent is pleasant. The price is reasonable as well.

I hadn't washed my hair for a couple of days when I used the product so my hair wasn't too dirty, but the Dove Dry Shampoo did perk up my hair so it didn't look so limp. I liked that it was easy to use and I especially liked that I didn't have to hold my breath when I sprayed my hair. I have used other dry shampoo aerosol products before and was so overwhelmed by the spray that I had to hold my breath and close my eyes, but thankfully not with Dove. I would gladly recommend the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo to my friends and family, and would purchase for myself #gotitfree

There were differing instructions that came with it - one said to spray it in, let it sit for a couple of minutes and then brush it out with your head upside down; the other said to spray it in, rub it in and then brush it out. The first is not the best option for a mom of 3 young girls (almost 4) so I definitely preferred the second. I tried both methods and both work effectively. I was able to go an entire week without actually washing my hair all thanks to #DoveDryShampoo!

And although I can't say it gave me much volume, the smell is wonderful and it does a pretty good job at soaking up any oils. I used it 3 days in a row, just to get a full idea on how well the dry shampoo worked, I have very oily skin and hair and by the 3rd day I was dying to wash my hair out. My hair felt heavy and gritty. I also didn't like the fact you have to brush it out, I try to limit the times I brush my hair since I frequently curl my hair and then just use dry shampoo in between washes. I had to refreshen curls often after brushing them out, which in the end would be very damaging. Sadly, I won't be repurchasing.

I received my Dove Refresh_Care Volume Dry Shampoo or #DoveDryShampoo for free. #Igotitfree I am not a big fan of the Dove Dry shampoo, but it does work somewhat in a pinch. My hair did not have much volume after using it, though it did seem to help my hair appear cleaner when it hadn't been washed. The scent is fairly strong as compared to other Dove Products i have tried but this may perhaps be due to the propellants in the spray. The smell dissipates quickly and left my hair more manageable than before. Even though the product is not for me, i am sure it will come in handy on those rushed days or when camping and one cannot shower. Thank you for allowing me to try the product for free.

My hair looks greasy by day 2 so I've been using the same dry shampoo brand for years and it worked relatively well. <br />
Then I tried the Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo and I realized what I had been missing out on. <br />
I feel like I could have used that for days! It actually made by hair look freshly washed and gave it more volume then it had when I first straightened it. <br />
I will definitely recommend and I will be switching brands!

This product left my hair looking fresh and clean but needs some distance when sprayed or it will leave some white residue. This product definitely gives hair some body but not too much. I felt this product was easier to use then other dry shampoos and I've used many. I've used high end ones and cheaper ones and this one of the best so far, especially for the price. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy to use dry shampoo at a great price. I would definitely purchase this product in the future and will continue to use mine.

I have needed to go out twice and my hair was looking limp but thanks to the Dove Refresh Dry shampoo I was saved and I was able to look decent.<br />
It really did make a difference and my hair looked great as well as smelling awesome!<br />
I would really use this again!!<br />

I found that it sprayed evenly and didn't have any kind of residue. It was easy to brush out and didn't leave any white marks in my hair. I liked that it reduced the shine and made my hair feel soft. It also didn't compete with styling products that were used afterward. Would definitely recommend this and will be replacing my current one with this when it is time to buy a new one.

I've never been a fan of dry shampoos because i've always found that white powder that it leaves behind to be extremely annoying. I've had my hair done and sprayed dry shampoo before and had a patch of powder to deal with but this product definitely does not do that! It has a fairly strong scent but is very "clean" and i think it smells amazing. I'm not sure if it really adds volume but for the fact of not leaving the white powder behind i think its worth the dry.

After using it, I'd say that if you want to use this to add volume to your hair and to take care of some excess oil, it would work decently. Using it regularly as an actual dry shampoo on the other hand, didn't quite work out as well. Even a few hours later it still felt I had product in my hair even tho the dry shampoo was the only thing I used.

This dry shampoo dried up all the excess oil, gave me tons of volume, smelled really nice, and left no white residue! And it's so affordable. I'll definitely be purchasing this on a regular basis. I also used this on clean hair to give it extra texture to make it easier to style. This product makes me want to gives Doves other hair product another shot.

I particularly like Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo because it not only revitalizes my hair and makes me feel fresher, it gives my hair more volume and a little extra bounce. This product does not leave a white powdery residue in my hair, which is an absolute disqualifier for me with some dry shampoos. This is one of my favourite dry shampoos by far. <br />

I love the smell of Dove's dry shampoo and it really does clean my hair. Some dry shampoos have a chemical fume smell to them that I really dislike. This one smells fresh and pretty. I have darker brown hair, and when I spray this in my hair it does leave a white powdery residue (like most dry shampoos), but I just run my fingers through it and the white disappears.

Dove Refresh is a great product and I would definitely continue to use it. No white residue left (I have black hair so this is a big plus!). I also have fine hair and find some dry shampoos weigh my hair down but this is nice and light. <br />

So dry shampoo is a big part of my beauty bag. I found that the Dove Volume really did a good job. I had some instant volume (though is fell within an hour, but that is normal for my hair), it did not leave a white residue as some other products have, and the scent was not overpowering. I found even the day after using it, my hair felt thicker and much less oily.

I have dark brown hair and can be very fine, so it's hard to find an affordable dry shampoo that doesn't leave a white cast or weigh down my hair. I love that this gives me volume and texture. Dove's dry shampoo DOES have a white cast when it's sprayed in, but I leave it to absorb oil for a few minutes, and then brush it out really well. The white residue gets absorbed and brushed away easily, leaving my hair feeling fresh.

I have very thin hair and it gets oily very fast. I have used other dry shampoos in the past so I did have an idea of what to expect. Just like other Dove products the scent is very nice and not too overpowering. I found this did not leave any white residue visible and gave a nice amount of volume. Because my hair type, like all other dry shampoos ive tried, I was not able to use it as an in between washes type of product but it gave me the perfect refresh to take me from day to evening. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a bit of a volume refresh throuout the day.

(My boyfriend loves when I use it.) Also it doesn't make my hair chalky like some dry shampoos do, and it also doesn't make my scalp feel like there's build-up on it. It works throughout the whole day and makes my hair feel about as clean as it can without actually washing it. Definitely will be buying it again and definitely recommend!

I don't suggest after you spray this product in your hair to rub it in. I have thick hair and for me it worked best when I just sprayed the product onto my roots left it for a couple minutes and then rubbed it or brush it out. <br />

The thing I liked about this product is that my hair lost the 'oily' look. On the other hand what I did not like about this product is my hair feels like I have a lot of product buildup even though I made sure to brush it out thoroughly.<br />

All in all the retail price point is pretty good and compared to some other dry shampoos that I have tried this one works for what I need it to do

It makes your hair feel just like the day after you have washed it. It does exactly what is says it does makes your hair feel refreshed and clean. You don't need much for it to work so the bottle lasts for a long time. It is worth the time and money you would spend on it. Absolutely love the way it add volume without making your hair feel heavy.

The Dove Refresh really provides some good results.My hair felt fresh and clean and it also provided some nice volume lasting all day long. Compared to other products available on the market, this dry shampoo is the bomb. Great quality for the price and the effectiveness is awesome. I consider buying this as my regular dry shampoo. Definitely recommended.
