We love it!
My 4 year-old daughter loves her drink in the box. She wants to drink from it all the time. Her little brother also steals sips from it all the time so I'll be having to get another for him.
I don't find it leaks at all. You need to make sure the straw part is straight when you close the lid so it gets "sealed".
She does need to ask for help to open the lid most of the time, but they're very helpful at her school. That's why I gave it 4 stars. We also haven't tried smoothies yet so I can't comment on how it works for them but I love that the large straw makes that possible.

This was a must have item this summer. Not only did this solve the problem of waste being sent home from lunches but also allowed us to send a water/ juice blend.
