Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish it wasn’t so glittery I got the shade “Rose Quarts”. The shade is very nice, and sort of a light taupey beige pink. However the finish is not the glitter free radiance you get with the Halo Glow liquid filter. In artificial light you see a lot of almost holo multicolor micro glitter twinkling on top rather than the even metallic sheen I wanted. For that I knock it 1 star because that’s not clear in any representation I found. The liquid itself does look sparkly in the item photos, but so does the liquid filter and on the face you won’t see any glitter no matter the lighting. This would be great for glam or for those who don’t mind a sparkle that doesn’t accentuate texture. For those who want a no makeup look where you get a super glowy look with zero glitter this isn’t for you. And to be fair, in natural light this highlighter does look like a natural sheen and you cant tell there’s glitter. But in any artificial indoor lighting it’s similar to any other quality powder highlighter. And I know for many that works for any situation so it’s by no means a bad product. For those like me you can still use this as a liquid eyeshadow or even a lip topper/mixed with a gloss on top. This could even work mixed with a moisturizer as a refined body glitter. You get a fair amount of product for the price. I saw some people say you can twist the top closed so it doesn't leak but I don’t think that’s true. I tried turning the top in both directions and either way squeezing the tube still released more product. Also, definitely don’t dot it all over the face. That’s just social media performance art. Apply it in sections and blend right away for a smooth even look that lasts all day. Even ELF themselves show the dots all over the face in their videos and that’s just asking for trouble. The longevity is very impressive but you’re gonna need to double cleanse and use a cleansing balm for the first wash or you’ll be giving twilight the next day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail highlighter I hope they never discontinue this as the Rose Quartz shade is my all time favorite elf product. It has a silky smooth texture and looks great on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, and eyelids. It gives a glow but is absolutely not glittery. I am 42, and this does not settle in to fine lines or highlight texture which I noticed with the CT equivalent.

Also the applicator is very messy and need to be cleaned after every use or it bleed everywhere, its defeat the purpose of the product that's supposed to help us eliminate steps in our makeup routine. The sponge also is a hazard for contamination since ou can not clean it complatly.

I like to clean all my application stuff, because I don't want anything to break me out. Mine is a little messy, but it is super sparkly so whatever!
