Description

If you struggle with oily hair then St Clements is for you. Ethique uses castor oil to cleanse, and lime and orange oils to clean the scalp and freshen your hair up. This leaves your hair perfect without the need for a conditioner as the humectants in this bar draw moisture to your hair, without the oil. Perfect!

Directions: Thoroughly wet your hair. Swipe the bar several times through your roots. Put the bar down. Work the product through your hair, it will lather up! Rinse and follow with conditioner if you need to.

Ingredients: Sodium coco-sulfate, sodium cocoyl isethionate, stearic acid, aqua (water), decyl glucoside, glycerin, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, lactic acid, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, limonene*, Citrus aurantium dulcis (sweet orange) peel oil, sodium isethionate,Citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil, behentrimonium methosulfate, mica, ci 77891, ci 19140, ci 77861. *Component of essential oils Ethique is 100% palm free. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleans hair very well I have tried so many different "green" shampoos and none of them seem to work as well as I'd like...difficult to lather, making it hard to wash my hair well and get it clean all over. It became so I hated washing my hair because often I'd have to wash it twice and it still would have less clean areas. But this shampoo bar is very good! Just a few swipes across wet hair and it lathered so luxuriously, and reached all throughout my hair, making it very easy to wash. Rinsed out easily. I did not find the scent very strong or lingering which suits me. My hair feels so clean and is soft, light, and shiny. I am so so happy to have this shampoo! The only reasons I do not give five stars is it is a bit pricey (though worth the price) and it rates a 3 on EWG (which is still quite good, out of 10) but I usually go for a 1 or 2.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this solid shampoo and conditioner bar as I wanted to start avoiding plastic and use more natural products (that work well). I am amazed at how this works! It produces a nice lather and cleans without stripping. I paired it with the Guardian Conditioner bar which also worked amazingly. I was actually able to comb through my hair without any tugging. After my hair dried naturally, it was soft and silky. All I can say is...Wow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells Incredible I have oily hair and this shampoo bar works wonders. After washing, my hair feels very clean and there is no soap residue. Although the scent is supposed to be like lime/orange, to me it smells more like lemongrass. I've purchases shampoo bars before, but I am most satisfied with this one.

I don't do sulphates so lush products have never worked for me. I am super impressed by this shampoo bar. It's huge, way bigger than I thought, it suds up really nicely, and my hair feels very moisturized after using it. For reference, I have waist length, slightly wavy, thick hair. It also smells lovely and I love that it's plastic free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I recently purchased the Ethique’s solid shampoo. I read somewhere that it was good to get rid of build up in hair. All I have to say is that I have never written a review but this product is SO good that I had to. After only one use my hair felt light, soft and amazing. It’s also alllowed me to go days without washing it or needing dry shampo. It’s been one of my best online purchases ever!!!!
