Most shampoos are more than 70% water, made from petrochemicals and packed in single-use plastic. Everist is haircare meets skincare. They took out the water, packed in the skincare ingredients and concentrated it down into a luxe cream to make haircare that is better for the planet and amazing for your hair and scalp.
Includes zero-waste tube key. 50+ washes per tube (equivalent to a traditional 300ml/ 10.2fl oz water-filled shampoo bottle).
Directions: In the shower, wet hair and hands. Place metal tube key provided over top of tube and roll down gently to dispense a 1 inch strip of the concentrate (1/3 your normal dose). Everist shampoo
I wanted to love this mostly Canadian product, truly. The conditioner is very good, with a condition. The goal of sustainable/recyclable packaging is very important. But this vehicle - aluminum tubes with a very heavy key - is just not user-friendly, especially in the shower. Easily dropped with wet/soapy hands, beware it falling on a toe, or chipping your tub/tile. Seriously. The shampoo works well enough, but I did find at least 2-3 times the recommended amount was needed for my shoulder length hair, for a single wash. So - inefficient and quite expensive - not ideal for an everyday product. Also, aluminum can only be recycled if it's clean, and good luck unfurling and opening up the tube once it's finished. I transferred both shampoo and conditioner to small plastic tubs for practicality.

Great shampoo for travel.
I really like this shampoo and I think it’s super ideal for travel since it won’t make a mess. It makes my hair feel clean and look shiny after use. I had to use double the recommended amount because my hair is quite long and 1 inch was not enough for the bottom of my hair. I also wish it lathered a little more but overall it’s great. I would probably buy this for travelling but not on a regular basis mainly due to the price. I find it a little pricy for the size of the tube mainly because I need to use double the amount.

Where has this been my whole life?
This is an absolute game changer in regards to shampooing hair. A little goes a very long way, and wow the way it instantly transforms my hair!! I have a lot of hair and this concentrate makes me feel like I’ve left the salon without over shampooing which tends to dry out my scalp and hair. I absolutely love the metal component which helps to push all the product upwards, amazing shampoo!

Not for me.
I will not buy again. I struggle with dandruff at times and liked the idea of hair care and skin care combined. I am still getting used to the right quantity of product that I need for the thickness and length of my hair. 1 inch of product is recommended but despite very wet hands and hair I can’t get it to spread everywhere with that amount. It makes hair squeaky clean which I like. I have to wash hair more often than I was before because it gets smelly and greasy quicker.

Great product
I was not sure I'd love this shampoo since my scalp can dry out easily. However, my hair looks soft and shiny and my scalp is healthy with this shampoo! I wash 2-3 times a week, and whenever I travel this is the shampoo I bring. I also love that the company's sustainability ethics line up with mine. I keep coming back! I'm also sensitive to scents and allergic to some ingredients, and I've never been bothered with the Everist line.

Low maintenance hair from
I don’t recommend it - smells ok but poor feel, very drying
Awful texture in the hair, very stripping and made my hair feel tangled while it was lathering in my hair and after I rinsed it out very well. I used a little less than the recommend inch of product. It lathered well in my hands and in my hair. But my hands, the skin around my temples and my hair all felt incredibly stripped after I rinsed it out really well in warm but not hot softened tap water. I followed with the conditioner that didn’t smooth or restore moisture. My scalp feels dry and itchy after using it.
The shampoo smelled ok. Sort of like a pine forest. But compared to Attitude Super Leaves moisture rich that I normally use, it doesn’t really have much to recommend it except for the metal tube.
I have healthy, relatively thick and smooth hair that I don’t heat treat. It’s usually pretty ok with any somewhat decent shampoo and conditioner.

This shampoo is full of plant and fruit oils that give off a scent that I attribute more to a body wash or kitchen cleaner. I can imagine this scent would work for someone who likes natural/ spa scents. It even leans a little masculine. Anyway, it does a fine job cleansing my (balanced) scalp. I just can’t imagine ditching my preferred shampoo for this one. This item was gifted by Everist.

Disappointed. Packaging not user friendly.
Does not soften my hair like I hoped it would. I find that before you add any conditioner it makes my hair feel straw like and dry which means easily breakable. I’ve noticed some dry patches on my scalp afterwards as well. The packaging is a bit of a bother to use in the shower because you need to get the cap off and back on as fast as possible because the screw dial pushes out way more product than you need plus once water touches any product it starts to foam up. It’s not the worst shampoo I’ve ever used but it’s not what I hoped it was based on other reviews. More manageable when paired with a conditioner but I still use a leave in spray conditioner when I get out of the shower as well. I have longer fine hair so it’s surprising how little this product helped to soften or manage breakage based on what other reviewers mentioned. I will give it more time and finish the bottle but am not getting my hopes up for any change.

I was skeptical about this product at first because of the waterless factor, but this is actually one of the best shampoos I’ve found in years! It has an amazing light sweet citrus scent. It makes my hair feel so clean and soft afterwards.

I am in love!
I have been using this for a week and at first I was skeptical because I have never seen a cream shampoo. But after using it, boy oh boy I was sooo wrong! This shampoo is literally small but terrible. I just put a small amount on my short hair and it lathers nicely l, smells good and makes your hair feeling clean and soft! This has a lot of potential making it big to the big market. Highly recommended! This is gifted to me by Everist in exchange of my honest review!

Good so far.
I ordered both the shampoo and conditioner. While I would recommend the shampoo, it was a thumbs down for me with the conditioner. I like the scent of the shampoo, while I found the conditioner smelled musty. I had to use quite a bit more than the 1 inch suggested, as I have long, very thick hair. As others mentioned, it was an adventure getting the cap back on, while you're balancing your palm full of product, trying to get the tiny cap back on while the product continues to come out of the tube. I did resolve that problem by replacing the cap with a flip top cap from a toothpaste tube :) I likely will not buy the conditioner again, due to the smell. But I will purchase the shampoo again. So far, it hasn't made my head itchy.. which was the reason I purchased it to begin with. Success so far !

I was a little skeptical of a waterless shampoo but I know most shampoos are primarily water with minimal ingredients, but this exceeded my expectations. I have very fine hair and I just needed a pea sized amount for my whole head. The shampoo turns into a creamy lather that smells fresh and botanical. My hair was super soft and shiny and my scalp didn’t feel tight at all. Definitely a cost effective and environmentally alternative. Gifted by helloeverist but this is my honest review.

Everist haircare is so different from anything else I've tried!
I've been growing my hair out for about 3 years, so I'm always looking for hair products that will nourish and repair my dry hair. With 30% glycerin & 18% aloe vera, this shampoo is deeply hydrating. My hair has never looked and felt so nourished, soft and healthy!
It's a game changer 100%! It contains rosemary oil & peppermint so it smells amazing, and it's so creamy! You only need a teeny amount to create a rich lather. No more frizz

Love the new conditioning concentrate!
I have forever stuck with a chemical-ridden hair mask by Goldwell (Kerasilk) despite having mostly clean products because it has been really challenging to find a clean product that is also a deep conditioner! So grateful for this awesome product. Also, if you have not already purchased the body wash with the konjac sponge, it is a MUST. I love the feel of the sponge and the scent of the body wash matches the shampoo!

Not for me
I really wanted to like this because I love the idea of less waste, but sadly after a few uses, I’m noticing that I seem to be shedding more hair than usual. In addition to that, it made my scalp oily making me have to wash in 2 days as opposed to my preferred 3. On the plus side, it smells really nice (but the conditioner did not) and the packaging was great. Sadly it was a very expensive experiment on my end.

Tubes seem big then you put the key in and it's half its size. Product does not do what it claims. I saw zero difference in my hair. I am so disappointed. Worst part is I can't return. It so I'm stuck with this. How can you sell this for 28$. Deplorable!

Pretty good!
I love Everist’s sustainable approach to hair and body care. The scent of the product is amazing too. The reason why this isn’t 5 stars is I feel like I have to wash my hair really frequently. It doesn’t do a good job stripping build up. If I go a couple days without a wash I might have to repeat two or three times to feel “clean”. But despite that I still wouldn’t switch! It’s a good product.

Great ingredients
I was really impressed with the overall quality of this shampoo. It smells really great and left my hair smelling really good too. It was easy to apply to hair and left my hair looking smoother and less frizzy after drying. I really love the fact that it doesn't have harsh chemicals as I felt that it was better for my hair overall. I product was gifted to me by Everist.

My favorite hair care product !
I can't say enough about how this amazing product has changed my hair into an ultra soft natural grey look with a shine ! I love how the small ammount lathers in my hands first before applying it to my hair ! The conditioner leaves my hair naturally soft and light ! I leave it on for an extra five mins before rinsing that makes my course long grey hair even softer !

Amazing Product
Everist shampoo has been a lifesaver! I have suffered from dandruff and an oily scalp my entire life. Everist shampoo cleans my scalp and my hair and maintains the pH balance of my head so my dandruff has gone away. It cleans my hair without making my hair dry and makes my hair feel light and clean. It feels amazing, I won't use anything else!

I was skeptical about trying this and I had no reason to be.
I have very fine straight hair which can damage easily and very sensitive skin that dries easily on my scalp.
This shampoo didn't dry or damage my hair. My scalp and hair feel healthy and soft. My hair is shiny and bouncy. This is a product that really worked for me.

Works well for me despite not lathering.
I have noticed a positive change in my hair since using Everist shampoo and conditioner: it is thicker, full of volume, and less frizzy (in normal conditions; in humid and wet New Orleans it was its usual disaster). I use a lot of product in my hair (mousse, hairspray, etc.) and this may account for the fact that I get almost zero lather (I have tried to do a double wash but it's not much better). But I learned from a hair scientist that you don't really need lather to clean your hair (it's a gimmick to make you think your hair is getting clean) and, indeed, I can go four days and my hair still looks clean. I took off one star due to the packaging that seems to be universally disliked: the tube is difficult to close up while in a wet shower, and I've dropped it so many times while attempting to close that the cap has chipped its rim twice. They suggest getting the tub, but I can't imagine not getting water in it whilst showering, and also scooping up more than I need.
