organically shaped, one of a kind, and hand-finished in Portugal. Use
for food service, from the kitchen to the table. Each plate measures 8.8
inches in diameter.

Materials: Artisan-crafted stoneware, Local Portuguese clay, Lead-free semi-matte glaze. NOTE: All semi-matte ceramics are susceptible to superficial marks from your flatware. They may be removed with a scouring powder.

As described!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Super beautiful plates, this perfect, lovely, speckled semi-matte finish just as pictured. They DO get minor, superficial scrapes QUITE easily, like on the first use if ANY cutlery touches them, but they're upfront about that before you purchase. The scuffs come out very easily with a slurry of barkeepers friend, like they said. Only takes a few minutes to do your whole set. But if you're looking for zero-effort perfect-timeless plates, these aren't them! You'll need to buff them if you want them to stay unmarked. Would still recommend, they're worth a bit of elbow grease.

Nice plate until I use it
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was very excited to get these plates. The design is beautiful, the speckling as well as the shape are great and the white colour is just the clean look I had wanted. However, after the first use with a knife they had scratches! And I'm not talking about sawing into a tough steak or something like that, this was light use and I was being purposefully precious with the new plates since I wanted to keep them in great shape for as long as possible. The finish on these plates scratches far too easily. Even if BKF can remove the scratches this seems absurdly delicate.

Obsessed is an understatement
I first ordered the dinner plates to see them in person. Needless to say I fell in love! I have ordered and received the salad plates which are the perfect size for a small plate! I just ordered the pasta bowls which I'm excited about receiving! Will get cereal bowls next! Ordered 8 in each style and will likely grab another 4 for when we have larger family gatherings. Quality is amazing! Colour is perfect! I ordered them in the speckled white. I have bar keepers friend on hand in case scrape marks appear, they havent yet! Would love to see these in black!! I like to switch up my decor seasonally and need black for fall! Waiting on the everything bowls to restock as well.

Elevation and Elation
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Was hesitant to order dinnerware sight unseen but, boy, am I glad I did. These dishes are just gorgeous! Finally decided to streamline my kitchen and get one style of everything instead of a mish-mash. Have so been enjoying these dishes - they’ve totally elevated my dining experience (which is limited to at-home during the pandemic). They are heavier but still perfect for everyday use. They were definitely a splurge but they bring me untold pleasure. Food just looks better served in Fable vessels! If you’re considering these, go for it - you will thank yourself.

Beautifully crafted tableware
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We ordered The Dinnerware Set and each piece is so beautifully made, like pieces of art. We were looking for modern and minimalist dishware and these were exactly what we had in mind! We've used them for about a month now and I will say, I was a bit disappointed they showed flatware marks on first use and many of our pieces have marks now (our sets are the speckled white colour), so I am going to buy the Tawashi brush and use a compound as recommended in the FAQ to try and get the marks out. Regardless, we are happy with the product and would recommend!

Love this collection

I own eight dinner plates, 8 pasta bowls, 8 salad plates, and I'm about to buy the eight breakfast bowls. I just love this collection. I love the slight lip on the edge of the plates that helps to contain runny sauces and dressings. I love the matte speckled finish that is a great background for anything I cook. Plating is easy peasy. My daughter has requested a set for her wedding gift. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, practically indestructible, the best dinnerware I have ever had.

Can't wait to use my new Fable dishes!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I first discovered Fable on a trip to Saltwood Beach House in Ucluelet this past spring where they have Fable dishes in their suites. We fell in love with the feel of them and the story behind them. I ordered 2 sets as a gift to my husband and myself, in the process of waiting for delivery, we sold our home. So we made a pact that we will not use our new dishes until we have our first meal on our new dream property! That will be near the end of Aug 2021, so we wait not so patiently to enjoy these amazing dishes in our home! Having used these for 6 days on our trip, we know how incredible they feel, so luxurious and soft, yet sturdy in your hands!

Amazing dishes
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is the first time in my life I've ever assembled a new set of modern dishware. I'm so glad I found this company because it's been a great experience. Fun, too. Over the past several months, I have gradually built up the collection one set at a time. I started with blush pasta bowls. Loved them. A month later I ordered the blue plates. Adore them! And recently I purchased the small places in dove grey. All I'm missing is the white dishware, which I will order soon. The quality is very high and the price is very reasonable.
