I bought 'beet' on sale for half the normal price (otherwise I find it too expensive for a 5-gram lipstick) and it's a nice even colour. I find the formula slightly drying. I can wear it with lip balm, but otherwise it feels too dry. Maybe it's the plumping ingredients that make it feel dry. I haven't noticed a plumping effect yet. No irritation/burning sensation, which is good. There's no noticeable scent or flavour, which is good. The packaging is unique - the metal tube lid has a button that sort of ejects the lipstick tube when you press it. Never seen that before. I suppose it's for secure closure?
