The moisturizer has a light gel like consistency with a pleasing fragrance. I've been using a pea shaped amount in the morning, and get complete coverage. The feel on my skin is not greasy and does not leave my skin looking shiny like many other products.
My skin looks plump and fresh, With zero reaction to the product. I have been using this for two weeks, and there is still a ways to go in the bottle. This product is great on my combination skin, and I would consider purchasing again in the future over other brands.

I loved the consistency of this, they call it a hydra-gel and that's it exactly what it sounds like. It's cooling and spreads nicely over your face but you literally need a pea size. If you put too much on it has a tacky feeling that I didn't like. I wore it under my make up and it gave me a nice base to put foundation on. The only thing I didn't like was the smell. It smells a little hair product-y thankfully the smell doesn't last.
Smooths, softens and hydrates nicely. My skin looked smoother after using it consistantly.

I have combination skin, so the gel is perfect for me. Although it is in gel form, it really moisturizes well; I have been using it in cold winter weather, and my skin doesn't feel dry at all. It also help refreshes my skin, I do notice that my skin brightens the whole day and doesn't look dull anymore. The price is a bit high for such little product, but I only need a little for my face, so it should last for a few months. The only thing I don't like about the product is that it contains parfum.

I've been using it for 5 days now every morning, and I'l liking it a lot! It's very light, and I normally prefer light moisturizers anyways during the days, so my makeup sits better. The hydra-gel works well with both my foundation and bb cream that i use, my face stays hydrated and non-greasy throughout the day. My skin feels nice and hydrates, but I cant say it's making me look more "woken-up". It is a great morning moisturizer, and I'll keep using it. Maybe i'll see more effects after a few more weeks?

I really like this stuff. When I first went to apply it I felt like it might be a bit too thin (especially for winter in Ottawa) but upon application it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. My only complaint is that I wish it had SPF. I don't wear a lot on my skin and I feel like this would be enough *if* it had SPF. I still need to apply moisturizer afterwards for that reason.
I feel like the price point is slightly high but I do really like the product and would consider buying it.

The first time I use this product think I used a little bit too much and it sat on top of my skin and felt a little bit too greasy. The second time I read the instructions and only used a pes sized amount which made a huge difference.
The cream is really easy to apply and isn't use strong smelling, feels great on the skin and does give my face a radiant look. I had a friend comments that it looked like I was wearing foundation, surprise surprise! I will buy this product after my sample runs out.

The first thing I liked about the Garnier SkinActive Gel Moisturizer was the smell, it wasn't too overpowering. The consistency was great aswell. It felt light and quickly absorbed into my skin. After a few days I could tell that it was making a difference on my skin. Usually during the winter months my face gets a lot of dry patches, and they were mostly gone within a week. I feel like with continued use this product can really help keep my face soft and even. All in all I really enjoyed this product and will continue to use it!

I was really excited to use it, as I saw a lot of advertising and wondered if it would live up to the hype! At first, I opened the bottle and the smell was fantastic!! After that, it was downhill. As directed, a pea size amount was pumped and used all over my face and I hoped to notice something after a period of use. Nothing was notably different or even slightly, though the cooling effect was really nice after a good exfoliation. I don't think I will repurchase, it seems expensive for not having noticeable effects on my skin.
