Best Razor Yet!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is the best Venus Gillette razor I've tried and I've pretty much tried them all. It is definitely more elegant with the metal handle. It's nice and heavy and doesn't feel cheap. I will never go back to the plastic handle. The razor cartridge itself looks similar to the Venus Embrace cartridge, but this new one is sharper and leaves your skin feeling smoother. Would highly recommend this!

So Smooth, So Worth It
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) At 1st I was a little skeptical about the extra blade and metal handle making any difference but oh my gosh does it ever!
The extra weight from the metal handle makes it so you dont need any excess force, and that 5th blade is a dream leaving behind no stray hairs.
I have never loved a razor (including other venus razors) as much as I love this one! I cant wait to jump in and use it again!

Works like a charm!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love these razors. This is the best razor I have ever used! The 5 blades give you a super close shave with a nice smooth shave. My legs became silky smooth after shaving with this razor.Plus , It honestly feels like nothing when you are shaving. I had to do a few double looks just to make sure the job was getting done. some. Also, the squishy grip makes it easy to hold onto and control. the moisture strips too seem to hold up a lot longer than the original venus. Also, the shower caddy is small and blends in with tile! The fact that I can use different Venus razor refills and having platinum handle makes it lasts much longer than any plastic ones which all awesome, so i doubt i'll purchase it soon just because its way too expensive now plus it is going to last for prolonged period of time!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received the five blades Gillette Venus platinum razor handle and two cartridges for free. I tried it and shaved my legs . Wow this razor is the smoothest , softest razor and close trim I ever tried . It works like butter. It's very sharp so got to shave gently but I think it's one of the best ones I've ever used. I love how the razor has a metal handle the quality is fantastic will definitely last for years . It's very sturdy . Also most times when I shave I would leave my razor on side of the tub and after awhile it would get a sticky and rusty and cannot be used again . I love how this shaver wont get ruined by rusting . Overall the best shaver ever and will continue to use this brand and buy more refills. I'm happy I found a razor that best suits me . it's the complete package. Love it !!

Such a great razor!

The metal handle has a nice weight to it, making it really easy to prevent nicking yourself. I also liked how there was 5 blades- it got each and every hair and was a very smooth shave! The swivel head is good for around your knees and ankle.

So silky smooth

There is a green band around the blades that releases this slippery gel I’m assuming to help prevent razor burn but it makes your legs all soft and slippery. Great razor very luxurious and fancy with its solid metal handle and rubber grips.

Some razors I find after shaving my legs will leave my legs feeling a bit irritated and sometimes itchy, but this razor was sharp! No itchy legs! I hope these razors stay sharp longer than my previous razors.
I also like the handle as it's easy to grip and doesn't tend to slip out of my hands like some other brands.

Love this razor

This one is heavier so I feel like I have a better grip and it doesn't slide out of my hands at all. I also love the close shave I get, my legs feel incredibly smooth and I feel like it lasts longer than other razors I have tried. Great product to purchase!

New favorite razor!!!

Gillette Venus platinum

The weight helps to get a smooth shave with out having to pressing down ( and ultimately cutting yourself). The handle thikness is way better then the old ones. Not as fat and fits right into your hands and the grips are in the right places to place your finger tips on.

Underwhelming!

It is just as effective as the other venus products that I use however the handle is very heavy and hard to grip when it is wet. Fell out of my hand a couple times due to this problem. The razor works the same as the disposables just heavier so I'd probably just continue buying disposable

Silky smooth
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am an advid user of Gillette Venus disposable razors, so I couldn’t wait to try their Gillette Venus Platinum razor.
I have the most stubborn leg hair, so it’s hard to get a close shave and I found the Platinum razor doesn’t get as close to my leg hair roots as the disposable ones do, maybe the blades aren’t as sharp?
However, having PCOS I have to shave my chin all the time and I found the Platinum razor delivered such a better shave than the disposables do. The skin on my chin, underarms and other areas is much more sensitive than my legs, and I found the Platinum razor gave me a more gentler shave than the disposable razors and made the skin a lot less agitated.
The razor itself is the best quality I’ve had, super durable for all my clumsy shower drops.
I will definitely be adding the Venus Platinum to my list of must haves.

Metal handle - what more could I love

I feel that the shave could have been better. I even used Venus shaving cream. It wasn’t as close as I hoped it would be but better than some others I’ve used. Best Gillette Yet!

Unbelievably soft!

I am in love!

The Gilette Venus lasted longer, had a smoother shave, handled a lot better and was so much easier to use. I did not end up with any nicks, cuts or rash like I did with the disposable. Amazing, better than before!

Pleasantly Surprised

I had the opportunity to try out this razor and I have to say, I was extremely surprised by the results.
The handle is a bit heavier than the traditional razor but honestly, I like that it is. The look of the razor is sharp and classy. I am a sucker for silver and white.
My legs have not honestly felt as smooth as they have for a long time. My girlfriends were extremely surprised when we compared yesterday.
The razor blades may be more expensive but from what I see so far, it is money well spent.
The only thing I am having trouble getting used to is the size of the razor head. Although it does a good job at saving me from nicks and cuts it feels a bit bulky and clumsy... Maybe it's something that I just need to get used to

Love the handle - great grip

I found that there was so much extra to this razor and it took away from the shave. I did like that I didnt need shave cream though. I will choose different heads going forward because im never letting go of this handle :)
