Smooth glide and great grip

The shave is close and leaves my legs super smooth without any nicks, and I love how razor feels to hold.

Superb Gillete experience

Smooth Like Butter!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am a self-proclaimed razor snob. I have tried every brand and type of woman's razor. I find that they never get close enough to the skin and leave me with an uneven shave. I generally find them ineffective and have been using men's razors for a long time. I find men's razors to be more effective but they can also be too harsh for my sensitive skin. When I got the Gillette Venus Platinum razor, I was skeptical. I assumed it would be like all the other women's razors out there. Well, was I ever surprised! This razor shaved very close to the skin and left everything very even. It also glided along my skin smoothly and was very gentle. The beautifully ergonomic handle was so easy to hold and control. This razor left my skin hydrated, smooth and hairless! That's all I could ever ask for in a razor! Finally! I recommend this to any woman who has been frustrated by a less than perfect shave.

Nice weighted handle
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My first impression of this razor was that it was heavy, but in a good way. The hand feels really nicely balanced easy to hold. I also really like the cartridge on the first try. The pads surrounding the blades helped it glide easily. The blades to get clogged up a bit faster than my other razor since there are so many of them close together, but some extra rinsing takes care of that.
When I went back to use this razor a second time though I was surprised to see that the pads surrounding the blades had molded to the texture of my loofah that it had been lightly resting against. Now with bumpy uneven pads, the razor jumps and skips occasionally and I can quite close to cutting myself.
Overall a nice weighted razor, but make sure the razor cartridge isn't touching anything as it dries after use. I'll likely keep using the handles but switch out the type of Venus razor cartridge I use it with. Luckily it fits most of the ones available.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This razor isn't what I thought it was going to be. It is really smooth and it does the trick but it's a little slippery when you have soapy hands and when the metal gets wet it's it's a little slippery. The blades are very sharp that's forsure.
