Stays nice and cold
I put this teether in the fridge to cool for my 5 month old. However, she prefers silicone teethers. She will use it for a few minutes, but loses interest in it afterwards. I do think it is a bit too big for her mouth at this age.

Exactly what I needed
Bought this as I couldn't find it anywhere in stores (funny as I remember those soothers being everywhere when I was growing up!). Works great and stays cold for at least an hour. Perfect!
