Noticeably whiter teeth in days!
I was a little nervous to try this toothpaste when it came out super black, but I went ahead and was immediately surprised at how well it worked. My teeth and mouth felt super clean and minty fresh. I had to rinse a couple of times to get all the black out, but it is rinsed pretty easily. I was nervous about the sink too, so was very careful and it didn’t seem to leave any stains. My toothbrush is slightly stained, but not super obvious. I’m a heavy coffee drinker and I noticed in the first week that my teeth had already whitener. Even my husband noticed and he’s not one to notice things. In fact he was so impressed he started using it too. Other than my white toothbrush being a slight grey tinge now, I think the results speak for itself and it’s totally worth it.

Does a great job. Be prepared for clean-up
I was given this fluoride free toothpaste to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. i was impressed with the flavour and effectiveness of the toothpaste. It left a very clean and fresh feeling, similar to to the feel of fluoride but with all natural ingredients. Love the minty fresh feeling. The whitening is also pretty good, At least comparable to non-charcoal toothpaste. I am impressed at how effective it is, with the added bonus of all natural ingredients.
What i struggled with was the clean-up. I love my sink and my toothbrush head sparkly clean. I use an electric toothbrush and had a hard time getting the blackness off my toothbrush, Also have to rinse my sink many times to get it spotless which uses up a lot of water. i have become more efficient with the clean-up and i do think i will get used to it with time.

DELICIOUS toothpaste
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was fairly skeptical to try this as a dark grey, nearly black substance in your mouth is a little jarring. But I was astounded at how great the product works. My teeth truly are getting whiter and the product hasn't stained my sink or clothes either. It still leaves your mouth minty fresh and isn't as sharp as regular toothpaste. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Activated Charcoal for the win!
I received the hello Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Toothpaste through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was certainly interesting to brush with this black toothpaste. It actually makes your teeth turn grey/black while brushing which is a little shocking at first. And when I spit, post brushing, and rinsed my mouth with water my teeth were left feeling perfectly clean and smooth. Just be careful where you spit, lol. I was left with a nice and naturally fresh feeling mouth. I can't really speak to it's whitening ability as I have only been using it for a month and my last toothpaste was also a whitening one, so its hard to see any discernible difference.
Overall I really like this toothpaste and the fact that it's fluoride-free and uses the natural cleaning effects of activated charcoal. I'll definitely be buying this again.

It works amazing, but messy!
I received this mouthwash from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Isn't the packaging cute? It leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed with all the natural ingredients - activated charcoal from sustainable bamboo, coconut oil, and mint.
HOWEVER, it's black and stains your toothbrush and makes the sink very messy! But I guess it just motivates you to clean your station very thoroughly after each use?
Overall I will recommend their products.

Minty fresh, messy, but great!
I was lucky enough to receive the hello Fluoride Free Activated Charcoal toothpaste from Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Well, they aren’t kidding - this toothpaste is black! If you’ve never used an activated charcoal toothpaste before, the colour can be a bit shocking. However, if you were to close your eyes, you would have no idea what colour it was. The flavour is nice; a natural minty flavour. The toothpaste is good quality; feels like any other toothpaste in your mouth. It does make quite the mess - though the company is kind enough to warn you about that on the label. Definitely be careful how you spit! My mouth felt lovely and clean. Next time I would try the version that contains fluoride, as my teeth are prone to cavities and could use that extra fluoride boost. Otherwise I was pleasantly impressed with this black toothpaste.

Black Paste, White Teeth...
When you think of toothpaste, the idea of it turning your teeth black may not sound appealing, but there are benefits aplenty.
I was given this charcoal toothpaste to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. For those who might not know, charcoal, and its properties, including its black colour, can have many benefits when it comes to whitening your teeth.
This toothpaste, in particular, has a mild and pleasant taste that left my mouth feeling fresh and my teeth looking white(r).
However, while the ingredients claim to be "naturally friendly", I'm left to wonder why I would be prompted to call poison control if I were to swallow the product. That doesn't seem very "natural" to me... for this reason, I docked a star.
All in all, I liked this toothpaste, and would purchase it for myself, for the charcoal components, alone.

Love this toothpaste!
I received this toothpaste as part of a stellar product testing panel and I’m so glad I did! My husband and I both use the toothpaste and we love the taste, and we love how clean our teeth feel afterwards— that’s a big deal considering how many natural toothpastes, that haven’t come close to Hello! Huge bonus, our kids think it’s hilarious when our mouths are black from the charcoal! We will definitely be buying this product moving forward!

Works great but definitely messy!
This toothpaste was great in theory, but was such a mess!
I used it for a couple of weeks straight and it made my teeth feel super clean, and tasted great!
I was worried based on the colour that it would be super messy. Sadly, I was right. Stained my toothbrush and was super hard to rinse out... thought it was gone, but would leave a pool of black goo/water underneath after a few hours of drying. Would have to clean up my sink after each use. It also was stringy. Left black all around my mouth and inside of my mouth even after rinsing. First time trying a charcoal toothpaste, and I'm glad I tried it! Loved that this was a natural product. I likely won't buy again because of the mess, but I loved everything else about it!
I think my teeth look a bit brighter though!

I never thought cool toothpaste would be a thing
I use fluoride toothpaste normally but was happy to receive a trial toothpaste from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It certainly looks unlike a toothpaste in jet black but it taste the same and leave teeth feeling clean without an aftertaste or funny feeling like baking soda toothpastes can. If you like fluoride free, this one is great and looks flashy too, though I haven’t noticed any whitening yet, it’s only been a few days of use.

Delicious funny looking toothpaste
I've been trying the toothpaste for only 10 days but I really love the mint taste, it feels almost like mint tea and natural as opposed to other kinds of toothpaste. The best part is that it's fluoride free. It was the first time I was using black toothpaste and I definitely had to be careful how to spit it out without doing extra cleaning.

It’s a no for me...
I received this toothpaste through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The package warns you, but I just couldn’t get past the black sink, teeth, toothbrush, etc. It took multiple rinses to wash out the black from my mouth and then of course it’s all over the sink and toothbrush. I love the idea and the toothpaste itself is fine but I just can’t get past all that black! Didn’t use long enough to see a difference in whitening of teeth.

Making the Switch to Charcoal

I am a working mom and usually am brushing my teeth while multitasking in to get ready at light speed! I am a mom to a toddler girl who really enjoyed watching Mama’s teeth turn black! After having a baby, I am finding myself looking to make the switch to natural products. This toothpaste checks all of the boxes and I love that about this product.
I enjoyed this product for the most part due to the fact that it is made from all natural ingredients, had a great taste (minty like most other toothpastes and no bizarre aftertaste) and left my teeth and mouth feeling and looking super clean! I have been using the toothpaste for approximately 4 weeks morning and night and have noticed its whitening effects.
I was very skeptical at first when I opened up the tube to find the opaque, black colour of the toothpaste. It is definitely something that you need to get used to. I was pleasantly surprised to find that using the black toothpaste did not bother me one bit in the end as it left my teeth with a super smooth feeling that reminded me of that first time feeling of getting your braces off!
The only complaint I had about this product is the mess that it makes in the sink. Typical toothpaste doesn’t stain your sink but it might be worth the switch for an all natural product!

Great natural toothpaste!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this fluoride free toothpaste to try. Once your brain adjusts to the fact that toothpaste is black, it's a great product! After brushing your teeth, they feel extraordinarily clean with a nice minty fresh breath, unlike some other products that leave a strange aftertaste and feel. Over the years we have tried many natural and commercial toothpastes, this is among the best natural products we have tried to date. The only small downside is the spraying factor of the black toothpaste with some additional clean up required when using an electric toothbrush due to it's less pasty consistency (label does warn you of this factor). Overall the small downside is outweighed by the quality of this product. I would most definitely buy this product and would highly recommend it to others.

Great natural toothpaste!
I received this toothpaste to try in Exchange for my honest review, as part of the Stellar Review Panel. Overall, I like it. I’ve been looking for more natural swaps to my usual products and this one fits the bill. I’m very happy with the ingredient lists. My teeth look and feel refreshed and clean. The taste was a little bit strange at first but once I got used to it, I’ve been really happy with it. I’d purchase in the future!

Horrible tube design
The toothpaste is awesome. However the packaging is awfull. As soon as the tube is half full, it is difficult to get the toothpaste out. Not only the toothpaste, the deodorant container too. You will for sure waste half of container as there is no way to get it out. You should definetely do something with the packaging. Change it. Other toothpastes brands have tubes that are so easy to extract the toothpaste.

Amazing Fluoride Free Toothpaste!
Our family takes pride in understanding the ingredients in the products we use in our home, which is why this toothpaste was a great option for us. We avoid fluoride in our toothpaste for both our kids and ourselves, and this fit the bill. While the charcoal was initially a little alarming, I got used to the colour in my mouth, knowing it was going to give me the deep clean feeling I am used to. The toothpaste tastes like other mint flavoured toothpastes, which is important for me, as I will be turned off immediately if I do not like the flavour. My mouth was left feeling minty fresh and very clean. There is no staining of the teeth or left over charcoal/black colour on your teeth after a good rinse - just sparkly chicklets! Additionally, the product comes in a very sleek tube with attractive packaging.

Overall I feel the product did as advertised and really appreciated the natural elements, however the black colour was just something that took some getting used to, my husband could not get past it but I could! Great Benefits!!!
I was skeptical when trying the toothpaste, sure you hear charcoal and think black ash...I loved this toothpaste, and would recommend it to anyone. I have noticed a difference in the brightness and whiteness of my teeth. So lucky that as a Stellar Product Testing Panel I was able to try this toothpaste, I will now be buying it.

Trying something new pays off!
I have been looking for a natural toothpaste for a while and I received this toothpaste as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel so I figured - why not try it?!
Ok, this was my first charcoal product so it has taken a little bit of time to get used to the colour...it has changed the colour of my toothbrush, but I figure, no big deal.
I really love the fact that it is fluoride-free and considers other natural ingredients. With all the toxins that we’re exposed to these days, why not try to minimize those that we are exposed to daily.
I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and I don’t see a difference in how white my teeth are, but I will continue to use it. My mouth feels clean after using this product.
I like the unique tube too...I’m hoping you can get the last bit of it out unlike a typical toothpaste container.
I had never heard of this brand before but I will now keep an eye out for it!

Fresh minty taste
I got the opportunity to try this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel, I am already a user of natural products so I was excited to try this product out. I loved it and felt it left my mouth minty fresh and I have already seen a whiter shade to my teeth! I have tried other charcoal oral care products and found them very abrasive ... this one is very smooth and has a nice texture.

Tastes great

One thing I really liked about this toothpaste is that the taste is the perfect mint flavour and does not sting. I definitely felt refreshed after using it.

Say Hello to Whiter and Cleaner Teeth
I received this toothpaste from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and can’t thank them enough for introducing me to it! This product smells great, it’s not too minty nor is the texture gritty. It contains natural ingredients that are way better than what’s found in those traditional toothpastes, love that!
After using it for the first time, my teeth felt amazingly clean and slightly whiter than before. After weeks of use, I can say that I truly saw a noticeably difference in my teeth, they’re definitely whiter! This charcoal toothpaste does wonders! Yes, it’s black but it works wonders and doesn’t leave a mess, clean up is just as easier like other toothpastes. Seeing your mouth black may throw you off guard but it makes brushing a lot easier, you can easily sport out the areas you’ve missed! Love this toothpaste, it’s smooth, refreshing and foams great! A really great toothpaste
I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I only use natural, fluoride-free toothpaste so I was excited to try a new product with whitening properties - who doesn’t like a shinier smile? After two weeks of daily use I have to say I’m really happy with the toothpaste and the results. The product tastes really good and I feel I get a great clean. My mouth feels fresh and happy after using it, and I did notice that my teeth are whiter - although not in a drastic, unnatural way. The toothpaste is obviously very dark and my sink is a bit messy after brushing but it’s a minor inconvenience. My picky 8 year-old also tried it since it’s safe for children, and she reported enjoying the taste and how her teeth felt ‘slippery’, though she found it a little too tingly. Overall it hits all the marks for me - natural, fluoride-free, whitening, effective and fun to use. I’ll definitely keep using it.

Great Product!
I received this product to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I will definitely purchase in the future. The dark colour threw me off at first, it's different! After brushing my teeth looked and felt clean, I loved the scent and minty fresh taste of the toothpaste. The nature friendly ingredients are also a big plus for me.

Excellent toothpaste
I was given this toothpaste as part of the Stellar Product tasting panel - I don't think I otherwise would have tried black toothpaste. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it! My teeth felt cleaner and whiter after using it - I felt it to be more effective than my regular toothpaste. I love the fact that the ingredients are all natural as well!

New meaning to black teeth
I had heard about how great charcoal toothpaste was for whitening teeth so I was excited to try this! I was happy to see there was no fluoride and other junk that isn't needed.
It is completely black- there is no other way to describe it. I was so surprised that it had the texture and taste of regular mint toothpaste. I did find I needed to use a bit more than my regular brand, but not a significant amount.
My teeth felt smooth and refreshed after using. It seemed to make my whole mouth feel super clean. I haven't noticed a huge difference in the colour of my teeth but they were not very discoloured to begin with. I will be continuing to use this tube.
I hadn't seen this product in store before but was able to find it last time I was at the drugstore for an affordable price. I only deducted a star because I need to wash my sink 10x more often.
