Hello Pearly Whites!
I have always been hesitant to try charcoal toothpaste, but after receiving hello Activated Fluoride Free Toothpaste as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel, I’m all in! My mouth felt refreshed and my teeth felt as though I had been to the dentist. As a mama who tries to promote a more natural household, I was thrilled to see the friendly ingredient list where I could pronounce and recognize all the ingredients. Probably the highlight was smiling at husband mid brush, but really it’s the minty fresh flavour that you don’t expect. My teeth are whiter and my mouth feels like it had a deep clean!

Great clean
I received the hello Activated charcoal toothpaste from Stellar to try out. I was curious about it because I’ve heard that activated charcoal is effective for whitening. The first time was a bit funny because my kids were wondering why my mouth was grey! The toothpaste has a nice minty flavour that helps me feel fresh. The toothpaste does a great job of cleaning my teeth. The black packaging is great because it communicates the idea of black charcoal easily while looking sleek. I always try to incorporate natural ingredients into my products but sometimes natural alternatives aren’t always the most effective. That’s not the case with this product. It’s very comparable to traditional toothpaste.

Instantly whiter teeth after first use!
I received the hello activated charcoal toothpaste through Stellar testing panel. I absolutely LOVED the overall performance of this toothpaste! Although the black colour was a bit off-putting at first, after several days of using it, I got totally used to it. It tastes great and feels very clean. I stopped using my previous toothpaste and keep coming back to this mostly because I feel like it INSTANTLY whitens my teeth! I'm so happy with this toothpaste - never before have I had a whitening toothpaste work so quickly and the fact that it's made with natural ingredients is incredible!

Great all natural toothpaste
I received this Hello fluoride free toothpaste for the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I really liked the mild mint taste and all natural ingredients in the formula
like coconut oil, fresh mint and it is fluoride free..
The black colour is so fun, just makes sure to be careful when spitting it out because it can stain your counte. I would not brush my 3 year old teeth with it. It would be too messy. The toothpaste leaves a very clean and fresh mouth feel. It s definitely part of my self-care routine now. Thanks you for the opportunity. I really recommend this great toothpaste.

Good fluoride free toothpaste
I received this product about a month ago and while I haven’t noticed and whitening of my teeth, I have enjoyed it. The hello Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Toothpaste has a nice minty taste. It did leave a bit of an aftertaste in my mouth for a few minutes after using. Overall it left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. It can be a bit messy with the activated charcoal, but rinsed out of my sink easily. My favourite part about this toothpaste is that it uses naturally-friendly ingredients. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this mouthwash.

Great Charcoal Toothpaste
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is one of the best charcoal toothpastes I've tried and I've tried about 3 or 4 different one. This toothpaste eaves your mouth feeling nice and fresh and the mint flavour is not over powering! The natural ingredients are a huge bonus along with the whitening which is a huge bonus in my eyes.
The charcoal takes a little getting used to as it does turn your toothbrush and spit dark until you rinse everything but it's easy to clean after brushing your teeth!
I'm excited to try their other products and looking forward to buying their kids line for our daughter.

Love the natural flavour and ingredients!
I’ve been using this toothpaste for a few weeks now and I LOVE it. I’ve been looking for a more natural toothpaste that works well and tastes great (I’m not usually a fan of many flavours of toothpaste) and this one checks out. It has a natural mint flavour and leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh. The packaging is appealing and informative (and fun to read!) I wanted to look further into some of the ingredients and the website is full of great information about all of their ingredients and products. I’m still getting used to the idea of black toothpaste and it can be a bit messy if you aren’t careful, but overall I have really enjoyed this product. It works!
I received the product as part of the Steller Product Testing Panel. I was excited to try this one. I tried a few charcoal ones before but they hurt or sting my gums after. This one is fabulous! It is like a normal toothpaste and is easy on the gums. I can feel that my teeth became cleaner after multiple use. The only problem I had with this product is that unlike other toothpaste I have to thoroughly rinse my teeth a few times to get rid of the black color on my tongue. I also had to ensure the sink is washed clean after brushing. It doesn't leave any permanent stain or anything but if you don't rinse the sink properly it looks dirty like black water paint was thrown in there. Otherwise highly recommend the product.

Better than expected

I’m not going to lie - I hated the idea of black toothpaste with charcoal in it. For years and years I’ve bought the same toothpaste and it was perfectly fine so I thought. At first glance I worried that this would stain my electric toothbrush and taste terrible. Good news is that it rinsed off my toothbrush and tasted better than imagined. I never in a million years would have bought this but my teeth felt cleaner and the taste was refreshing.

Not to my liking
I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. I'll start with the Pros and tell you that the good about this toothpaste is that it tastes like regular toothpaste despite its very different look. The other great thing about the hello activated charcoal fluoride-free toothpaste is the proposed health benefits. However I have rated this toothpaste two Stars since much like the hello activated charcoal mouthwash it is extremely messy due to its black color. Furthermore the black color seems to linger on the teeth and tongue even after brushing. Finally the color makes it feel unnatural to use as we are not used to cleaning our mouths with something that looks like mud. In all, despite it's health benefits and taste I see the learning curve of using a black toothpaste too insurmountable to overcome.

Natural toothpaste win
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product tasting panel and my family has really enjoyed using this toothpaste. The natural ingredients make it a win in our home, and the dark black colour provides endless fun for the kids. My mouth feels clean and fresh after using and I’ve found that I look forward to using this toothpaste over the others in my cabinet.
My only complaint (and this is so minor) is that you do have to be extra cautious with the dark colour. Sinks need to be rinsed out, mouths need to be wiped to reduce little black corners, and you don’t want to accidentally get any on your clothes.
All said, it’s been a great new product and I would recommend it to anyone who prefers natural products!

Great job cleaning teeth!
I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel. What I really love about this toothpaste is that it is fluoride free and contains natural ingredients. I enjoy the taste, and it does a great job cleaning my teeth. My teeth felt smooth, clean, and appeared shiny and white after using this toothpaste. What I didn't love about the product is the mess. Even when you spit carefully, there is still charcoal splatter and it is a pain to clean up, particularly after it has dried. If you rinse the sink right away it's fine and does not leave residue.

Something new and my teeth are happy!
I've been reluctant to change from my usual bright-blue minty toothpaste that I've been using for decades. When I received the hello Charcoal toothpaste from Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was cautiously excited. A great chance to try something new that's good for me and the environment.
I really liked this toothpaste. It's got a great texture and smooth taste. And - my teeth feel even cleaner and fresher than with my usual paste! The packaging is great too - easy to keep clean and although this may be superficial, it looks great on my countertop.

Terrible product does not work at all
I bought the charcoal teeth whitening toothpaste it did not work at all it doesn’t really taste good and I feel like it made my teeth look worst over all would not buy again !

Two weeks in, not much whiter but great taste
I’ve used charcoal toothpaste before, but I was very pleased to see this is an actual toothpaste and not a powder. It’s significantly less messy, and really resembles toothpaste. The taste is great; minty and not at all gritty or drying on the tongue! I feel like my teeth are clean after using it, and they look clean! However, they do not look much whiter as you can see in the before (left) and after (right) picture. I’ll keep using it to see if they whiten more as it’s only been two weeks. The taste is great, and I’m very happy with the natural ingredients. One of my goals for 2021 was to purchase and slowly replace our household products with more natural ones, so I was very pleased that Stellar Product Testing Panel gifted me this!

Amazing in every way!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this fluoride free toothpaste. I was immediately impressed by the fact that it’s fluoride free and made of natural and safe ingredients- the fact that it claimed to naturally whiten was a major bonus! I had used another activated charcoal toothpaste in the past, and was not very impressed (tasted and felt awful), but I was excited to try another one as I really wanted to love it- and I truly do! I have been using it three times a day, for over two weeks now. It tastes minty and leaves my mouth feeling really fresh and clean. It’s a little messy, but as long as you are careful it’s not a big deal and definitely worth it. The best part is my teeth are noticeably whiter, without any of the sensitivity that can sometimes come with whitening products. Also love the packaging! Will definitely keep using.

Switching to activated charcoal toothpaste forever!

I love that it is fluoride free which is an added bonus. This toothpaste also has a great minty flavour which was not overpowering. Good product
I received the activated charcoal Toothpaste and mouth rinse through Stellar Product testing panel. At first, it felt weird brushing and rinsing my teeth with black liquid. Once I got used to it, it stopped bothering me. I like the refreshing mint after brushing and rinsing my mouth. After using the toothpaste and mouthwash for 4 days, I started noticing my teeth being whiter. The only problem I have with the products is that my teeth became more sensitive after 1 week of usage. I would still recommend it for the freshness and efficiency.

Well, this was definitely not what I expected. What an awesome product. I love the natural ingredients and the mild mint was perfect and not too harsh. The black charcoal colour surprised me but it definitely made my teeth look whiter and brighter. Wouldn't mind a more economical friendly packaging or if they could explore something like toothpaste tablets but I would definitely recommend this for people that want a natural product that works great and tastes good. Great Product with Amazing Features
I am so grateful to have received this product free for sampling From the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was blown away by the fact that it was fluoride free and all of the natural ingredients it contained. It left my breath feeling so nice and fresh and minty and didn’t have a horrible after taste like other comparable products. I used this in combination with the Hello Activated Charcoal mouthwash and within a few days I was already starting to see the whitening power in effect. Although you have to be careful when spitting because it is very messy, I don’t mind because with a quick wipe of the sink after each use, the charcoal also left my sink looking sparkly clean and white. I will be switching from my normal brand to Hello Activated Charcoal Toothpaste!

Good Product with Natural Ingredients
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with hello Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Toothpaste to test and review! Being pregnant, it was really important to me that this product and its ingredients were safe during pregnancy. I was able to easily find this information on the hello website FAQs section. I love that this product uses charcoal for whitening, this does mean that its a black toothpaste, not what you would typically expect in a toothpaste but it worked great and tasted ok too! There was some black residue left near my gums after brushing, but that was easily rinsed away with mouth wash. My teeth felt and looked nice and clean afterwards and I felt good knowing I was using a product with natural ingredients and that is fluoride free.

Hello Activated Charcoal Toothpaste Review
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had never tried an activated Charcoal toothpaste and was super intrigued that Stellar Product testing panel had sent it to try. I absolutely love the packaging, it was clear from first glance that this was a charcoal product. The minty fresh smell and taste I loved, my mouth felt clean and my breath smelt great after using it. I am a big fan of the natural ingredients and love that its certified organic and leaping bunny certified. My teeth felt and looked clean after using it, however I did find that after my next meal I felt like I needed to brush my teeth again. I also didn't notice a big change in the whitening of my teeth. That being said it is definitely a toothpaste I will continue to use daily. I am a fan!

GREAT NEW PRODUCT
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using the hello charocal toothpaste and mouthwash for a week now and I must say it is just wonderful! Although the colour is daunting, the toothpaste itself is fantastic! I really like the packaging, its modern and nice looking in my bathroom. They match too, so my decor fits right in!
The toothpaste tastes fresh and clean and left my teeth sparkling white with just a few uses! I saw a difference in the shade of my teeth colour within a few uses, and I cannot wait to see the progress as I continue to use this product! My toddler also is enjoying this product! He loves how cool his mouth looks while brushing! The mouthwash is fantastic too! It leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh for hours after I brush! I cannot wait to recommend this product to my family and friends and I want to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sharing this product with me as I have yet to find a dental hygeine product that I truly love!

Nice and fresh
I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I loved the packaging it came in and was intrigued to try it.
The toothpaste had a nice minty taste. It tasted slightly natural but not overwhelming or displeasing. The only thing I didn't love was the colour - the black from the charcoal gets all over your toothbrush, mouth, sink, etc. You just have to be extra diligent at washing away the residue. Otherwise, I really liked this toothpaste and was happy with how clean it left my teeth.

Wonderfully fresh but...
This product looked so cute on my vanity. It tasted great and my mouth felt super fresh afterwards. Not sure if it actually whitened my teeth but I loved the ingredients.
The only downside is that it stained my toothbrush. I knew going in that it could stain my sink but I didn’t anticipate that my the basement of the bristles of my brush would be permanently black. If that isn’t something that would bother you, I highly recommend.

It’s messy but it works!
I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel. But I will be recommending it to friends and family that are up for using charcoal toothpaste.
The taste is great end it definitely left my mouth feeling clean and fresh.
The toothpaste is very black. I have to be careful where I spit, if you’re lucky enough to already have a black sink then you might be able to be a bit more carefree.
I love that it’s cruelty free, though I am surprised that, boasting all natural ingredients, it still contains warnings to keep away from children and to not swallow. It seems like something all natural should also be able to be used on children. I don’t think that would stop me from buying it again, but it does make me wonder about the level of “natural“ and “healthy“ for this product.

Awesome charcoal toothpaste
I was given this toothpaste to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited when I received this product and read that it is a better alternative. I love that it's cruelty free and made with natural ingredients. My teeth and mouth felt very clean after every use, my teeth also look brighter too, and the taste is great! You do have to thoroughly rinse your mouth and sink after use though but that isn't a deal breaker. I will definitely keep using this.

I received a product sample of hello Activated Charcoal Flouride Free Toothpaste through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I have searched for a toothpaste such as hello for quite some time - search no longer! hello Activated Charcoal Flouride Free ticks all the boxes for me!
I love the flavour of the paste, it is an amazing amount of mint that is so satisfying while you brush! It’s very refreshing.
The black colour is shocking at first but that shock goes away quickly when you realize how it deep cleans to the gums and whitens the teeth so nicely during the brush.
I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to my other Flouride free paste now that I’ve discovered hello; hello is superior to the other Flouride free ones I’ve tried and that is one of the things I look for in a toothpaste along with being SLS free.

I’ve been using hello toothpaste daily and have been very pleased. The texture and consistency is not as thick as other brands but that’s ok.. My breath has been fresher and it actually lasts until the next morning. I truly think this paste works. The freshness doesn’t go away and I feel my teeth clean after a single use.
The downside- its messy!
